A digger-shaker-inverter is for harvesting root plants is provided. The digger-shaker-inverter includes a frame and a row unit. The row unit includes a first belt driving assembly and a second belt driving assembly. The first belt driving assembly includes a first carrying belt that grips a first side of a vine and a fixed bracket that supports the first carrying belt. The second belt drive assembly include a second carrying belt that grips a second side of the vine, and an adjustable bracket that supports the second carrying belt and adjust to control a distance between the first carrying belt and the second carrying belt.

Lifting device for lifting root crops

A lifting device for lifting root crops comprises at least one lifting share mounting which supports at least one lifting share. The at least one lifting share includes a front pick-up region in a lifting direction and a rear ejection region in the lifting direction for the root crops. The lifting share mounting is coupled to a lifting device frame, and during operation is pulled thereby in the lifting direction. The lifting share mounting is movable relative to the lifting device frame and, viewed in the lifting direction, laterally from an initial position into an offset position. A guide arrangement is configured to guide the lifting share mounting such that with the movement of the lifting share mounting from the initial position into the offset position the pick-up region is laterally displaced further than the ejection region, as well as a harvesting machine, in particular for harvesting beets.

ROOT CROP HARVESTER

A sugar beet puller wheel set includes a pair of generally upright, spaced apart, symmetrically non-parallel puller wheels, rotatably disposed on axles attached to a frame and having a gap therebetween. A gap adjuster is associated with at least one of the puller wheels, and is configured to move the at least one puller wheel axially along the respective axle with axial rotation of the gap adjuster, allowing selective adjustment of the gap.

Plant conveyor and method for harvesting plants

A conveyor includes a frame, at least two arms at least one of which is movably mounted to the frame, at least two rails wherein each rail is coupled to an end of one of said at least two arms, at least two belts wherein each belt is rotatably mounted on one of said at least two rails such that the belts are capable of engaging plants therebetween and moving the plants along a conveyor axis, and one or more bias members which are configured to bias said at least one movable arm toward the other one of said at least two arms. The conveyor further comprises an expanding mechanism which is configured to exert an outward force on said at least one movable arm upon engagement so that said at least one movable arm move away from another arm.
