Integrated flow control valve with flowrate feedback
A flow control valve assembly has at least one manifold having an inlet flow port, an outlet flow port, and a flow channel provided there between, the flow channel having an inlet chamber, a variable area chamber and an outlet chamber, with fluid flowing from the inlet flow port to the inlet chamber, the variable area chamber and the outlet chamber, in that order, before exiting the outlet flow port. The flow control valve assembly further includes a float assembly having a float extending through the flow channel and which is limited for its movement inside the variable area chamber, a connecting rod extending through the flow channel and which has an upper end that is connected to the float and a lower end that is connected to a magnet. A measuring device is positioned outside the fluid chamber at the bottom of the at least one manifold, and spaced apart from the magnet.
FLOW DETECTION DEVICE, COOLING ARRANGEMENT FOR AN ELECTRONIC DEVICE, AND RACK HOSTING A PLURALITY OF ELECTRONIC DEVICES
A flow detection device comprises a fluidic input port connected to a fluidic output port via a channel and a float located within the channel. A specific weight of the float exceeds a specific weight of a fluid injected in the flow detection device. Respective locations of the fluidic input port, of the channel and of the fluidic output port on the flow detection device cause the float to rise within the channel when a sufficient flow of the fluid is injected in the flow detection device. A sensor is provided to detect a position of the float within the channel. The flow detection device may be integrated in a cooling circuit having a cooling device for an electronic device to detect an eventual lack of a flow of a cooling fluid in the cooling circuit. A status of the flow of the cooling fluid is reported to a processor.
Agricultural product application system and method thereof
An electric measurement method and apparatus for detecting a mass by an electric capacity (permittivity) or a material's dielectric constant, or alternatively, electric inductance (permeability). The mass may be any phase or combination of phases. The mass may be stationary or flowing. It may comprise discrete particles such as grain, or manufactured products such as ball bearings or threaded fasteners, etc. The mass may be a flow element in a rotameter or similar flow measurement device. The sensor comprises a volume which may be completely full or only partially full of the material. The material may be discrete components or a continuum. Sensor signals may be received by existing planter monitoring systems. In some embodiments the flow sensors are positioned external to the application port. In some embodiments sensors may be utilized which are responsive to the refractive index variation of specific chemicals.

Flow Sensor
Flow sensors are provided that can provide both leak detection and flow monitoring. The flow monitoring enables a determination whether there are blockages or leaks in a fluid system during normal operation of the system. The leak detection enables detection of leaks when the system is shut off. The flow sensors can use a frusto-conical flow guide to provide a more compact flow sensor.
Piezoelectric alternating magnetic field flow meters
Methods, apparatus, and systems for flow measurements by alternating magnetic fields are provided. An example alternating magnetic field flowmeter includes a magnetic token movable within a conduit for guiding a fluid flow (conductive or non-conductive) along a flow path, a magnetic field generator configured to generate alternating magnetic fields within the conduit to move the magnetic token along the flow path with a first flow velocity and opposite to the flow path with a second flow velocity, a detector configured to measure respective first and second electrical signals responsive to the alternating magnetic fields, the first and second electrical signals associated with the first and second flow velocities, and a processor configured to determine a flow rate of the fluid based on the first and second electrical signals. The alternating magnetic field flowmeter can include a calibrator configured to manually or automatically calibrate the flow rate with a correction factor.

MONITORING SYSTEM AND WATER FILTER MAINTENANCE METHOD
A water flow measuring device comprises: a) a main body provided with a water flow sensor through which water can flow when demand therefor is made by a water supply system; and, b) data collecting circuitry suitable to collect data generated by said water flow sensor; said water flow sensor being provided with a plugging element coupled with a spring constricting element, which is suitable to block the flow of water therethrough when the water pressure at the inlet of said sensor is smaller than the mechanical pressure applied by said spring constricting element.
