An ultrasonic fluid meter includes an ultrasonic measuring device, a valve comprising a movable member, a position sensor configured to measure the current position of the movable member, a pressure sensor arranged to measure the pressure of the fluid in the conduit; and a processing circuit arranged, if the current position of the movable member is such that the current flow rate cannot be measured by the ultrasonic measurement device, to evaluate the current flow rate as a function of the current position of the movable member, of the pressure of the fluid to the current flow rate, and of the pressure of the fluid at zero flow rate.
ULTRASONIC FLUID METER INCORPORATING TWO PRESSURE SENSORS
An ultrasonic fluid meter comprises a conduit (4) in which a fluid can flow, an ultrasonic measurement device (6) for evaluating a current flow rate of the fluid, a valve (12) comprising a moving member (14) for controlling the current flow rate of the fluid, a position sensor (15) for measuring a current position of the moving member (14), a first pressure sensor (16) for measuring a first pressure of the fluid upstream of the valve (12), and a second pressure sensor (17) for measuring a second. pressure of the fluid downstream of the valve (12), and a processing circuit (5) for evaluating the current flow rate as a function of the current position of the moving member (14) and of a pressure value representative of a difference between the second pressure and the first pressure, if the current flow rate cannot be measured by the ultrasonic measurement device (6).

A flow system includes a flow sensor, a first pipe configured to transport fluid from an upstream fluid source to the flow sensor, and a second, separate pipe configured to transport fluid from the flow sensor to a downstream fluid distributor. Flow Sensor System
A system may include a flow sensor and a base. The flow sensor may include a flow tube, a sensor configured to characterize at least one attribute of a fluid in the flow tube, and an electrical contact in electrical communication with the sensor. The flow tube may include a fluid inlet at a first end of the flow tube, a fluid outlet at a second end of the flow tube, a fluid injection port between the first and second ends of the flow tube, and a valve configured to control a flow of a fluid in the flow tube. The base may include a processor, an electrical contact in electrical communication with the processor, a short range wireless communication device, and a display. The flow sensor electrical contact may be in electrical communication with the base electrical contact when the flow sensor is connected to the base.
Flow Sensor System
A system may include a flow sensor and a base. The flow sensor may include a flow tube, a sensor configured to characterize at least one attribute of a fluid in the flow tube, and an electrical contact in electrical communication with the sensor. The flow tube may include a fluid inlet at a first end of the flow tube, a fluid outlet at a second end of the flow tube, a fluid injection port between the first and second ends of the flow tube, and a valve configured to control a flow of a fluid in the flow tube. The base may include a processor, an electrical contact in electrical communication with the processor, a short range wireless communication device, and a display. The flow sensor electrical contact may be in electrical communication with the base electrical contact when the flow sensor is connected to the base.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR AN INLINE FLOW METER ASSEMBLY
Embodiments described herein relate to a flow meter assembly. The inline flow meter assembly includes a housing, an elongated flow member, and a piston. The housing includes a fluid passage. The elongated flow member has a shaft portion and an opposite fluid flow portion. The fluid flow portion has an outer peripheral surface. The shaft portion is coupled to the housing. The piston has a plate. The plate has a plate orifice. The piston and the plate move axially between a no flow position where the outer peripheral surface of the fluid flow portion is engaged with the plate orifice to prevent a fluid flow and a full flow position where the outer peripheral surface of the fluid flow portion is disengaged with the plate orifice such that the fluid flow enters the plate orifice and passes through the fluid passage in the axial direction of movement of the piston.
Liquid flow indicator device and method of use
A Liquid Flow Indicator Device comprising: a sight glass having one or more cages positioned around the sight glass for containing one or more indicator objects, so a user can see the indicator objects, which are visible to the user looking through the sight glass, thereby providing visual notification to the user. When the liquid is flowing through the cages and also the sight glass, the indicator objects will float around inside the cage, thereby providing visual notification to the user that the liquid is flowing through the cage and the sight glass. The indicator objects can also make a sound when the liquid flows through the sight glass and through the cage by banging around inside the cage, thereby providing audio notification to the user that the liquid is flowing through the sight glass. As such, this invention provides Audio notifications and/or Visual notifications regarding the flow of liquid. A fluid transport system and a method of using the device.
