FLOW MEASUREMENT DEVICE
A flow meter includes a cylindrical body having an exterior surface and an interior surface defining an inner diameter of the cylindrical body. The cylindrical body also includes an outlet end and an inlet end. The inlet end is shaped and dimensioned for selective attachment to an inlet pipe or hose having an inner diameter that is small than the inner diameter of the cylindrical body. The flow meter also includes a gauge tap formed within the cylindrical body, the gauge tap being positioned adjacent the outlet end of the cylindrical body at a position between the outlet end and the inlet end. A pressure gauge is secured within the gauge tap for measuring the pressure within the cylindrical body and ultimately the flow of fluid through the cylindrical body. A nozzle is attached at the outlet end of the cylindrical body and at least one nozzle insert is provided for selective attachment to the nozzle so as reduce the size of the outlet in order to extend the normal range of the flow meter.
MONITORING SYSTEM AND WATER FILTER MAINTENANCE METHOD
A water flow measuring device comprises: a) a main body provided with a water flow sensor through which water can flow when demand therefor is made by a water supply system; and, b) data collecting circuitry suitable to collect data generated by said water flow sensor; said water flow sensor being provided with a plugging element coupled with a spring constricting element, which is suitable to block the flow of water therethrough when the water pressure at the inlet of said sensor is smaller than the mechanical pressure applied by said spring constricting element.
VARIABLE AREA FLOWMETER, SYSTEM COMPRISING A VARIABLE AREA FLOWMETER AND AN EXTERNAL CONTROL UNIT, AND METHOD FOR OPERATING A VARIABLE AREA FLOWMETER
A variable area flowmeter having a float and having a display unit, the display unit includes a pointer element, the pointer element is connected directly or indirectly to the float such that the pointer element is mechanically deflected by the float during the measuring process. The variable area flowmeter that operates particularly reliably and is flexibly applicable at the same time is achieved in that the display unit comprises at least one bi-stable display which only requires an energy supply in order to modify the displayed representation and/or to restore the representation.

Flow sensor
Flow sensors are provided that can provide both leak detection and flow monitoring. The flow monitoring enables a determination whether there are blockages or leaks in a fluid system during normal operation of the system. The leak detection enables detection of leaks when the system is shut off. The flow sensors can use a frusto-conical flow guide to provide a more compact flow sensor.

Flow or level sensor/switch system
A flow or level switch comprises a sensor/switch assembly which is adapted for mounting in connection with either a fitting having an offset defining a channel to detect fluid flow through an orifice into the channel or a tank having a ball float to detect the level of the ball float in the tank. A switch module comprises a control rod which reciprocates and activates a switch unit having a bi-positionable contact member. A follower, which may be in the form of an axle with an angularly fixed projection, engages the control rod to cause the contact member to move.
Automated Measuring System for Meter Test Bench
An automated meter testing system that includes a fluid inlet valve fluidly coupled both to a fluid source and an inlet on the at least one meter. The fluid source provides fluid pressure to move fluid through the at least one meter. A flow control valve is fluidly coupled to the at least one meter opposite the fluid inlet valve. A valve controller that operates the flow control valve. A controller is electrically connected to the valve controller. The controller sends at least one signal to the valve controller to incrementally open or restrict the flow control valve to increase or decrease a flow rate of the fluid through the at least one meter.

DEVICE FOR DETECTING FLUID FLOW
In a valve member, supply and discharge apertures of fluid are formed at a body having a fluid space E. A one electrode Da including a contact T is provided at an aperture edge of the supply aperture and/or a peripheral part of an aperture edge of the body. The body includes another electrode Db, and stores a valve member made of a conductor and opening and closing the supply aperture, and a coil spring made of a conductor and urges the valve member. A guide member made of a conductor is attached onto the valve member. The guide member is formed to secure a flow path of the fluid from the supply aperture to the discharge aperture while being slidable in the fluid space E, has a reception surface facing one end face of the fluid space E while receiving the fluid from the supply aperture.
