The system includes a medication delivery device, a dose information capture device adapted to be attached to the medication delivery device, and a target element adapted to be attached to the medication delivery device. The target element comprises a magnet or ferrous element and the target element attaches to the medication delivery device on a dose delivery mechanism of the medication delivery device. The dose information capture device includes a magnetic position sensor adapted to detect a position of the target element. As an alternative to magnetic sensing, MEMS flow sensors, and the like may also be used. Exemplary systems preferably transmit dose information in real time to remote devices for further processing.
FLUID PRODUCT DISPENSER
A fluid dispenser comprising: a casing (E) that is provided with a dispenser head (11); and a refill cartridge (C) that includes a fluid reservoir (R); wherein the refill cartridge (C) is axially insertable into the casing (E) in such a manner as to connect the fluid reservoir (R) to the dispenser head (11); the fluid dispenser being characterized in that the refill cartridge (C) and the casing (E) are provided with connection means (17, 253) for connecting the refill cartridge (C) in the casing (E) by screw-fastening, so as to bring the fluid reservoir (R) into leaktight contact with the dispenser head (11), the movement, after screw-fastening, of the refill cartridge (C) in the casing (E) towards the dispenser head (11) delivering the fluid to the dispenser head (11).
Liquid disperser
A dispenser for dispensing a metered amount of a liquid comprises a body having sidewalls defining a hollow interior and an opening at a forward end of the body, a cartridge having a reservoir adapted to contain a liquid and an outlet at the forward end of the cartridge, the cartridge being sized and shaped to be positioned in the hollow interior of the body so that the outlet is aligned with the opening in the body. A plunger is positionable in the reservoir and slidable within the reservoir, and a metering unit comprises a plunger advancement mechanism that can cause the plunger to slide within the reservoir, the metering unit causing the plunger advancement mechanism to advance the plunger a predetermined amount. The metering unit is configured to cause advancement the plunger in the reservoir to apply pressure on the liquid in the reservoir and cause a droplet of the liquid to be dispensed through the outlet. The dispenser produces a droplet of from about 0.5 l to about 10.0 l. In one version, a droplet to droplet consistency of 0.2 l. In one version, the metering unit provides feedback to a user when the plunger has been advanced the predetermined distance.
Pipette
A pipette for metering powder has a pipette sleeve and a metering piston having an end face for ejecting powder from the sleeve. The sleeve includes a free end and, on the sleeve inside, includes a circumferential wall extending in a closed manner around a longitudinal axis. The wall extends in the direction of the axis up to the free end and ends there in an edge which extends around the axis. The piston is guided to be movable parallel to the axis inside the wall. The end face, with the piston in a retracted metering position, defines a chamber with the wall. The wall is, in the region of the chamber, divided into a guide portion and a release portion adjoining the guide portion and extends up to the edge. The release portion surrounds a cross section of the chamber which is radially widened compared to the guide portion.
System and method for capturing dose information
A system for capture of dose delivery information is provided.
Container assembly with syringe
A container assembly comprising a container with a container neck, a syringe, and a closure with a cap portion having an end wall, wherein the syringe plunger of the syringe is connected to the end wall. The syringe is enclosed by the container body and the cap portion when the cap portion is aligned in a closed position on the container. The syringe is removable from the container when the cap portion is in the open position.
