Apparatus for determining and/or monitoring at least one process variable of a medium
An apparatus for determining and/or monitoring at least one process variable of a medium in a container or pipeline, including a resonator, which is in contact with an interior of the container or the pipeline, an active element for producing a high-frequency signal in the resonator and an electronics unit, which is embodied to receive from a unit formed of the resonator and the active element an electrical output signal. The electrical output signal is evaluated with reference to frequency.
Liquid level sensor for a chemical source vessel
A chemical vessel used for holding a liquid chemical precursor is disclosed comprising a liquid level sensor tube. The liquid level sensor tube is configured to operate in an environment where the liquid chemical precursor is heated to a point of boiling or vaporization. The liquid level sensor tube comprises housing with a slot built in to prevent any false readings of sensors disposed within the liquid level sensor tube.
POOL CONDITION MONITORING APPARATUS AND METHOD
Embodiments of the present invention provide a pool condition monitoring device (50) comprising a hermetically sealable housing (52) having a floor (54) defining a lower external surface (56) of the housing. A sensing probe (60) depends from the lower external surface of the housing, for immersion in water (18) in the pool along a part of the length of the probe. An electronic circuit (7) and power source is within the housing, the electronic circuit including a telemetry device (120), suitable to connect the device to a remote system via a local area wireless network or a mobile telephone station. The sensing probe (60) is adapted to return a value to the electronic circuit depending on the degree of immersion of the probe in water, and thereby to indicate a fill level of the pool. The probe is sized to pass through a circular hole (40) of less than 3 cm in diameter in a lid (26) of a pool overspill sump (22), whereby the device can be supported by the lower external surface of the housing on the lid. The sump (22) is arranged with respect to the pool such that water in the sump is at the level (20) of water in the pool, the sump including a drain (38) from which water may be drawn for cleaning purposes and return elsewhere to the pool.
PROBE UNIT
A probe unit having a coaxial structure and including a probe electrode, a guard electrode and a contacting module arranged on a section of the probe electrode, which contacting module including an insulating sleeve, a flexible circuit board with a first conduction path for the electrical contacting of the probe electrode and a second conduction path for the electrical contacting of the guard electrode, and a module housing, wherein a first contact plate is provided that electrically contacts the first conduction path, the module housing including a second contact plate that electrically contacts the second conduction path, wherein the module housing has a pot-shaped geometry with a cylindrical wall, which wall substantially surrounds, protects and/or electromagnetically shields at least the probe electrode in the region in which the contacting module is arranged, at least a part of the insulating sleeve, and at least sections of the circuit board.
Capacitive fringe field oil level sensor with integrated humidity and temperature sensing
A sensor for measuring multiple properties of a fluid, such as oil, including level, temperature, water contamination, and dielectric where the sensing elements include two or more interdigitated electrodes, a capacitive relative humidity sensor, and a temperature sensing element.
APPARATUS, SYSTEM AND METHOD OF PROVIDING A CONFORMABLE HEATER SYSTEM
The disclosure is and includes at least an apparatus, system and method for a flexible heater sensor suitable for association with a fluid bag. The apparatus, system and method may include a conformable substrate on a ply of the fluid bag opposite a printed flexible heater; and a matched function ink set, printed onto at least one substantially planar face of the substrate. The matched function ink set forms: at least one conductive layer capable of receiving current flow from at least one power source; and at least one dielectric layer capable of at least partially insulating and at least partially limiting conductivity of the at least one conductive layer; wherein the matched ink set is matched to preclude detrimental interactions between the printed inks of each of the at least one conductive and dielectric layers, and to preclude detrimental interactions with the conformable substrate; and wherein the at least one conductive layer and the at least one dielectric layer comprise a sensing circuit that senses at least the temperature of fluid within the fluid bag.
Hand dryer apparatus
A hand dryer includes a housing including a hand insertion portion and nozzles communicating with the hand insertion portion, a high-pressure air stream generation device placed inside the housing, hand detection sensors detecting a user's hand inserted into the hand insertion portion, a control unit that, when the hand detection sensors detect the user's hand, operates the high-pressure air stream generation device to cause an air stream to jet out from the nozzles, and a drain tank collecting droplets blown off the user's hand and scattered in the hand insertion portion. The hand dryer includes a drain conductive plate placed to face the top surface of the drain tank and a control circuit detecting the water level of the drain tank based on capacitance generated in the drain conductive plate.
FILL LEVEL MEASUREMENT DEVICE
The present disclosure relates to a fill level measuring device for measuring a fill level of a liquid material in a container, including at least two flexible wire probes that extend into the container, a signal generator, and an end weight for each flexible wire probe. The end-weights are joined together such that they can rotate with respect to each other and/or can move in an axial direction with respect to each other.
