Mixed supplement beverage vending machine
A mixed supplement beverage vending machine includes a housing having a base and a front side. The front side includes a display screen and an input mechanism. A user platform extends forwardly from the base. A dispensing mechanism includes an outlet disposed on the front side of the housing. An ingredient sensor is operably connected to a mixing mechanism. A weight sensor is configured to detect the weight of an individual standing on the user platform. The vending machine includes a control module that determines the weight of a via the weight sensor, calculates an ingredient profile based upon the weight of the user, mixes the ingredients of the ingredient profile via the mixing mechanism to form a beverage, and dispenses the beverage via the dispensing mechanism. The vending machine can include a wireless transceiver for remote operation and communications with external wireless devices.
Methods and systems for interactive weight management
A computer implemented method for interactive weight management that includes generating a number of sub-goal weights g.sub.0, g.sub.1, . . . g.sub.n based on a current weight C.sub.w, a desired weight loss amount (ΔW), a desired weight D.sub.w, a curve tension r, and a timeframe (τ) in which the weight loss amount (ΔW) is to be achieved, wherein the timeframe (τ) includes a number (n) of time periods that each correspond with a pair of successive ones of the sub-goal weights g.sub.0, g.sub.1, . . . g.sub.n. The method includes sending the sub-goal weights g.sub.0, g.sub.1, . . . g.sub.n and the number (n) of time periods to a weight measuring device that is associated with a user. Based on the condition W.sub.a1>g.sub.i<W.sub.a2 or based on the condition
new sub-goal weights g.sub.0, g.sub.1, . . . g.sub.n are generated and are updated in the weighing device.
FOODWARE SYSTEM HAVING VISUAL-STIMULATING AND SENSING COMPONENTS
An active foodware system senses food characteristics, such as weight, calories, and other nutrition. Dining dishes are removably mated with dish holders supported by a mechanical structure having visual stimulating, sensing, and wireless communication components. A visual stimulating component emits light from a dining dish. The mechanical structure protects the components and circuitry from liquid. The system may include a camera. Other components may provide data processing, auditory and haptic stimuli, wireless power, temperature sensing, and heating of food. Data related to the food is displayed on a visual stimulating component of a computer or mobile communication device, such as a mobile phone or tablet computer. The data may also be sent to the internet. Computer software displays nutrition information on the visual stimulating component, which may be displayed before, during, and/or after dining. Computer software may also provide visual and auditory encouragement for children to eat.
Consumption Tracking Wine Glass
The present invention relates generally to the field of alcohol consumption monitoring. More specifically, the present invention relates to a consumption tracking beverage container which allows a user to track the amount of wine or alcohol that they consume over time from said container. Further, the container may be wirelessly paired to a mobile application on a smart device to allow the user to analyze his or her alcohol consumption trends and patterns over time.
ORDERING SYSTEM AND WEIGHT MEASURING DEVICE
In one aspect, an ordering system includes a weight measuring device configured to transmit weight data obtained by measuring a weight of a measurement target object to outside, and an ordering device configured to acquire the weight data transmitted by the weight measuring device. The ordering device includes a storage configured to store remaining amount data of the measurement target object, a calculator configured to adjust the remaining amount data based on the weight data when the weight data is decreased compared with the remaining amount data and not to adjust the remaining amount data when the weight data is increased compared with the remaining amount data, and an orderer configured to execute processing related to ordering of the measurement target object based on the remaining amount data.
Nutritional value prediction system and method
The invention provides a nutritional value prediction system. A nutritional value of processed food is predicted based on an identity of food to be processed and processing characteristics of a kitchen appliance used to process the food to be processed. Processing characteristics of the kitchen appliance are determined based on a sensed parameter of a power supply of the kitchen appliance.
Smart tray for measuring food intake and weight change, and weight management system comprising same
The present invention relates to a smart tray for measuring a food intake and a weight change, and a weight management system comprising the smart tray, the smart tray comprising: a weight sensor for detecting the weight of an object placed on the upper surface and generating object weight information; an input unit for inputting the current weight information of an eater; and a control unit for controlling the weight sensor, generating weight deduction information, which is a value deducted from the object weight information, as food intake information within a predetermined time, and, by using same, generating estimated changed weight information.
System for measuring, monitoring and managing feed intake to determine feed efficiency of individual animals of a diary herd
A feeding system for measuring, monitoring and managing feed intake to determine feed efficiency of individual animals of a dairy herd. The feeding system includes at least one feed trough that contains feed to be consumed by the individual animals of the dairy herd. At least one load cell is coupled to the at least one feed trough for detecting a weight of the feed contained within the at least one feed trough. Lifting assemblies support the at least one load cell. The lifting assemblies can be actuated to move the at least one load cell and the at least one feed trough between a set feeding position, in which the individual animals consume the amount of feed contained within the feed trough, and a pivoted discharge position in which the amount of feed is discharged from the feed trough.
Foodware system having visual-stimulating, sensing, heating, and wireless-communication components
An active foodware system includes a mechanical structure supporting a food surface recessed in relation to an area surrounding the food surface; a heating component for heating food received by the food surface; a sensing component for maintaining the heating component at a desired temperature; a wireless communication component; and a visual stimulating component responsive to data from the sensing component or the wireless communication component.
