MEDICATION DISPENSING DEVICE AND METHODS
A medication dispensing device may include a plurality of trays, each tray optionally including a load cell configured to measure a mass/weight of a medication contained in the respective tray. Each tray is placeable in a medication accessible position and a medication inaccessible position. The medication dispensing device includes a user interface configured to provide instructions and/or other information with regard to access for each medication. A processor provides instructions to selectively place each tray in the medication accessible position, and to determine, based on any change in the mass of the medication placed in the medication accessible position, whether the appropriate amount of the medication is removed from the tray.
SMART CABINET
An apparatus is provided including a processor, a memory, and a door. A scale is configured to, when the door is opened, measure the weight of an item placed in the apparatus. A scanner is then configured to, when the door is opened, scan an item placed in the apparatus. The processor is then configured to track the weight of the item when the item is placed in the apparatus and to automatically reorder more of the item in response to a determination that the weight of the item has fallen below a predefined threshold.

AGRICULTURAL MANAGEMENT SENSOR PLATFORM FOR FRUIT
An agricultural management sensor platform that comprises a load cell that measures the weight of the fruit or vegetable remotely in real-time. Other sensors such as temperature, moisture, humidity, and irrigation pressure are also implemented in the sensor platform. Data is captured in real-time and sent to an external server wherein the user can undertake further analysis.
Systems and methods for verified biomeasurements
A method includes generating, via a camera, image data that is reproducible as an image of at least a portion of a subject. The method also includes receiving, via a sensor, first biomeasurement data associated with the subject, the first biomeasurement data including a first biomeasurement of the subject. The method also includes verifying the first biomeasurement of the subject based at least in part on a comparison between at least a portion of the image data and at least a portion of the first biomeasurement data.
CALIBRATION DATA TRANSMISSION METHOD, AND BALANCE AND RADIO COMMUNICATION SYSTEM FOR THE METHOD
To reliably exercise radio communication of calibration data. In order to achieve the above-described object, a balance (10) includes a weight sensor (12), a built-in weight (20) to be loaded on the weight sensor, an adding and removing unit (21) for the built-in weight, an arithmetic processing unit (14) configured to drive the adding and removing unit, and a radio communication device (41) connected to the arithmetic processing unit, wherein the arithmetic processing unit includes a radio wave environment check section (32) configured to check a radio wave environment, and a calibration execution section (33) configured to add or remove the built-in weight and issue a command to the radio communication device to transfer calibration data when the radio wave environment check section determines that the radio wave is good.
Personal items network, and associated methods
A system employs data taken from monitor devices and applies that data to video games, arcade games, computer games and the like (collectively a game) to personalize the game to real ability and persons. For example, when a monitor device is used to capture airtime (and e.g., heart rate) of a snowboarder, that data is downloaded to a database for a game and used to limit how a game competitor plays the game. In this way, a snowboard game player can compete against world-class athletes, and others, with some level of realism provided by the real data used in the game.
Smart cabinet
An apparatus is provided including a sensor configured to measure weight of a food item, a first interface configured to receive an identification of the food item, and a processor. The processor is configured to calculate how much of the food item has been consumed based on the measured weight, and to calculate, via a second interface in communication with a server, how many calories of the food item have been consumed based on the measured weight and the identification of the item and cause display of how many calories of the food item have been consumed to a first user.
Communicating scale
A communicating sterile scale is described suitable for automated use in animal cages. An upper module provides a weighing platform, electronics, upward facing wireless communication elements, a protecting skirt, and interface to a combined weight-bearing and electrical penetration element. A lower module provides a case, internal electronics, load cell, power source, sterile-sealed flexible complaint membrane and a combined weight bearing and electrical penetration element through the membrane. The upper and lower modules are easily separable for sterilization by immersion in a sterilizing fluid. The power source in the case may be charged through same electrical penetrating element. The membrane comprises a perimeter that is attached and sealed to the case, a penetration area penetrated by the rigid weight-bearing element, and an isolating compliance area. The skirt on upper module protects detritus from entering from below onto the membrane, while providing open-air movement. Upward facing narrow-beam communication elements provide association-free communication protocols.
Personal items network, and associated methods
A personal items network, comprising a plurality of items, each item having a wireless communications port for coupling in network with every other item, each item having a processor for determining if any other item in the network is no longer linked to the item, each item having an indicator for informing a user that an item has left the network, wherein a user may locate lost items. A method for locating lost personal items, comprising: linking at least two personal items together on a network; and depositing one or both of time and location information in an unlost item when one of the items is lost out of network.
