The leak prevention system also includes at least one pair of detection wires disposed within the liquid cooling device and at least partially surrounding the fluid area. The leak prevention system also includes a sensor connected to the detection wires and configured to detect when a cooling fluid contacts the detection wires.

A water leak detection system including a leak detector and a wall bracket with an integral or removable remote probe that can be positioned remotely from the leak detector. The leak detector is configured to electrically couple with the remote probe when mechanically coupled with the wall bracket, requiring no further user interaction to activate the probe. The wall bracket can include multiple remote probes that each electrically couple with the leak detector when the leak detector is mechanically coupled to the wall bracket, any one of the remote probes capable of triggering the leak detector when a leak occurs.

A system configured to detect failure of a hose includes a sensor assembly having a body with a first arm and a second arm pivotally coupled to one another at respective first ends, and the body is configured to move between a closed position and an open position. The sensor assembly also includes a first electrical contact positioned at a respective second end of the first arm and a second electrical contact position at a respective second end of the second arm. The first electrical contact and the second electrical contact are configured to contact one another to form a complete electrical circuit when the body is in the closed position and are configured to be separated from one another to form an open electrical circuit when the body is in the open position to facilitate detection of the failure of the hose.

An apparatus is described. The apparatus includes a cover to enclose a junction between respective ends of first and second fluidic conduits. The first and second fluidic conduits transport a coolant fluid within an electronic system. The apparatus also includes a leak detection device to be located within a region that is enclosed by the cover when the junction is enclosed by the cover. The leak detection device is to detect a leak of the coolant fluid at the junction when the junction is enclosed by the cover. The first and second fluidic conduits extend outside the cover when the junction is enclosed by the cover. Another apparatus is also described. The other apparatus includes a leak detection device to detect a leak of coolant fluid from a specific component or junction in a liquid cooling system of an electronic system.

In one embodiment, the disclosed apparatus is a process cooling-water isolation system used in a process tool. The system includes an isolation valve coupled between a water supply and an inlet of one or more components in a process-module water-cooling circuit. An open device allows cooling water to flow to the one or more components, while a close device prevents cooling water from flowing to the one or more components. At least one water-leak sensor is coupled to the close device to detect a water leak within the process tool. A check valve having an inlet port is coupled to an outlet of the one or more components, and an outlet port is coupled to a water-return reservoir. The check valve prevents water from back-flowing from the water-return reservoir into the one or more components. Other apparatuses and methods are disclosed.
