System and Method for Line Pressure Testing With Isolation Valve
20220065732 · 2022-03-03 ·

A hydrocarbon dispensation line pressure sensor adapted to work without requirement of a separate closed valve. The system closes the dispensation line upstream via an isolation valve. The pressure can be sensed from the dispensation line through the valve to provide dispensation line pressure. A channel in fluid communication with the dispensation line may be provided to allow pressure measurement apart from the main dispensation line. Further, a method for measuring the pressure drop profile of a dispensation line and various methods to determine the pressure loss due to leaks in dispensation line.

Automatic pressure testing for leaks in frac iron

Automatically pressure testing a frac iron configuration in a wellbore environment including performing a plurality of pressure testing cycles using increasing higher levels of fluid pressure to detect the presence of any leaks in the frac iron at one or more of the pressurization levels.

PRESSURE VESSEL WITH BARRIER LAYER

A pressure vessel includes a first container and a second container surrounding the first container and including a fluid port. The pressure vessel further includes a barrier space extending between the first container and the second container and a leak detection mechanism connected to the fluid port on the second container that is configured to detect a leak in the pressure vessel.

Hydrostatic Pressure Test Method and Apparatus

A method of pressure testing a closed hydraulic system for leaks includes heating or cooling pressure intensification fluid before it enters the closed hydraulic system under pressure. The closed hydraulic system may be for example a blowout preventer for an oil/gas well, a manifold system or tubulars. The intensification fluid is heated or cooled to a temperature at or near the temperature of the fluid within the closed hydraulic system.

In some embodiments, a computer system generates display content indicating a likely direction and estimated distance to a potential gas leak source. The content includes a street map and at least one search area indicator on the map that indicates a search area suspected to have a gas leak source. The search area indicator has an axis indicating a representative wind direction relative to a geo-referenced location of at least one gas concentration measurement point. The search area indicator also has a width relative to the axis. The width is indicative of a wind direction variability associated with a plurality of wind direction measurements in an area of the gas concentration measurement point. The axis also preferably has a length indicating an estimated maximum distance to the potential gas leak source.

SENSOR DEVICE AND GAS MONITORING SYSTEM

A gas monitoring system includes at least one sensor device that detects gas and outputs a detection result; and a gateway that receives the detection result. The at least one sensor device includes a sensor module having a gas sensor that detects gas; an analog-to-digital (A/D) converter that processes the detection result outputted from the gas sensor; a communication module that communicates with the sensor module and transmits information processed by the A/D converter exteriorly of the at least one sensor device; a power source that is an electric power source of the sensor module; and a power source that is an electric power source of the communication module.

A system includes a plurality of mobile fuel distribution stations. Each mobile fuel distribution station includes a mobile trailer, a pump, a manifold, a plurality of hoses, a plurality of fuel caps connected or connectable with the hoses and attachable on fuel tanks of pieces of equipment, a plurality of valves, and a plurality of fuel level sensors operable to generate signals indicative of fuel levels in the fuel tanks. The mobile fuel distribution station is configured to operate the pump responsive to a low fuel threshold to provide fuel to the manifold, from the manifold to the valves, and from the valves through the hoses. A server is operable to communicate with the mobile fuel distribution stations. An electronic device is operable to communicate with the server and display the fuel levels in real-time.

In some embodiments, at least one processor is employed to determine a boundary of a survey area. Data representative of the locations of measurement points adjacent to or outside of the survey area is received, as well as data representative of wind direction at the measurement points. The boundary of the survey area is determined according to the data representative of wind direction and a maximum detection distance value representative of an estimated maximum distance from a potential gas leak source at which a gas leak from the potential source can be detected.
