Leakage inspection method and leakage inspection device for container to be inspected

A leakage inspection method and leakage inspection device for container to be inspected are provided. When a container to be inspected having a deformable flexible part is to be inspected for leakage, the container to be inspected is filled with an inspection gas containing helium, the container to be inspected, which has been filled with the inspection gas, is disposed in an inspection chamber partitioned from the outside, and an upward flow of a carrier gas is formed from the lower part to the upper part of the container to be inspected. A leakage of the inspection gas filled in the container to be inspected is then detected on the basis of the result of measuring the concentration of helium in the carrier gas collected at a position higher than a position where the carrier gas is fed into the inspection chamber.

In-situ gloveport glove leak tester

The invention provides a system for detecting leaks in glovebox gloves, the system having a first seal within a glovebox aperture; a second seal contacting exterior surfaces of a glovebox, wherein the exterior surfaces define a periphery of the aperture; a first fluid supply for circumferentially expanding the first seal against center facing surfaces of the aperture to a first pressure; a second fluid supply for inflating the glove to a second pressure; and a pressure gauge for detecting a pressure decrease of the second pressure. Also provided is an in situ method for detecting leaks in glove box gloves, the method having the steps of applying a radially directed force to inside surfaces of cuffs of the gloves to hermetically seal the gloves from the exterior of the glovebox, thereby establishing a seal; inflating the gloves to a pressure; and monitoring the pressure for any decrease in pressure.

MEDICAL FLUID CASSETTE LEAK DETECTION METHODS AND DEVICES

A method is provided for detecting leaks in a disposable medical fluid cassette that includes a base and a flexible membrane attached to the base in such a way that the base and the flexible membrane cooperate to at least partially form a fluid passageway. The method includes applying a first force to the flexible membrane, measuring a first physical property of a system that includes the medical fluid cassette a medical fluid pumping machine, removing the first force from the flexible membrane, applying a second force to the flexible membrane, measuring a second physical property of the system, and determining whether the medical fluid cassette leaks based on a comparison of the first physical property and the second physical property.
