Perforated binder for laminated wound dressing
A method of manufacturing a laminated dressing that includes providing a lower layer having a fiber material that directly contacts a patient's skin and a wound area, providing an upper layer that has a foam or foam-like material that absorbs exudate and moisture, and binding the fiber-based lower layer and the foam-based upper layer with a binder layer comprising a binder material, the binder layer including a series of perforations. The perforations in the binder layer are formed by removing material from the binder layer with a pattern coated adhesive sheet prior to binding the fiber-based lower layer and the foam-based upper layer.
Combined compression and absorption dressing/bandage
A combined compression and absorption dressing/bandage, which includes a short stretch compression bandage and at least one absorptive wound dressing comprising at least one absorbent layer of a non-woven fabric of any one or more of cotton, viscose and polyester fibers, the absorbent layer having an operative inner face and an operative outer face, the at least one wound dressing being bonded to the short stretch compression bandage with its inner face towards the bandage and the outer face facing away from the bandage.
PERFORATED BINDER FOR LAMINATED WOUND DRESSING
A binder layer for a laminated wound dressing is brought into contact with a sheet coated with a pattern-coated adhesive sheet. As the binder layer is in contact with the pattern-coated adhesive sheet, a series of closed-loop cuts are made in the binder layer. The closed-loop cuts are made in such a way that the material enclosed by each closed loop is substantially physically separated from the remainder of the binder layer. Then the binder layer is moved away from the pattern-coated adhesive sheet, so that the binder layer and the pattern-coated adhesive sheet are no longer in contact. When the binder layer and the pattern-coated adhesive sheet are moved apart, the material enclosed in the closed-loop cutsi.e., the cut waste fragmentsare retained on the pattern-coated adhesive sheet, ensuring that the binder layer includes a series of cleared perforations.
Device, strap and garment for treating skin and subcutaneous tissue disorders and for repairing sports injury, and method for making same
A device (1) includes a first web of soft material (5), a projecting structure integral with the web and including multiple discrete projecting elements. The projecting elements include pieces of foam (3) spaced apart form one another and integral with the first web (5). The pieces of foam are compressed between the first web (5) and a second web (7) of soft material, the two webs mutually adhering between the projecting elements. The device is useful for treating various types of edemas and excessive tissue infiltration, as well as for repairing sports injury.

ANTIMICROBIAL WOUND DRESSING
The present invention concerns antimicrobial multi-layer wound dressings having an antimicrobial agent located at one or more interfaces between opposing surfaces of the layers of the wound dressing. This improves the migration of antimicrobial agent and allows the dressing to provide a higher overall concentration of antimicrobial agent throughout the dressing. This will assist clinicians when treating wounds by reducing the microbial load at the wound bed thereby reducing the risk of wound infection.

Absorbent cicatrization dressing and uses thereof for chronic wounds
One subject of the present invention is a dressing essentially consisting of: an absorbent nonwoven compress formed from a mixture: of bicomponent thermal bonding non-absorbent fibers, of core-shell type, said core being made of polyester (polyethylene terephthalate, PET) and the shell being made of polyethylene; of bicomponent superabsorbent fibers of core-shell type with a core made of polyacrylonitrile and a shell made of polyacrylate; and a net fabric made from a hydrocolloid elastomer mass partially covering the face of the compress intended to come into contact with the wound. This product is especially intended to promote the healing of chronic wounds by optimizing the debridement.
ABSORBENT SHEET
The purpose of the present invention is to provide an absorbent sheet capable of sufficiently absorbing exudates exuding from an area of a lesion and exhibiting a powerful deodorizing effect for illness-associated odors. The invention relates to an absorbent sheet with deodorizing functions having an absorbent region and a deodorizing region situated to at least one side of the absorbent region, wherein the absorbent region contains cellulosic fibers, an absorbent polymer and a thermal adhesive resin, and the deodorizing region contains cellulosic fibers, a deodorizing agent and a thermal adhesive resin.
SHAPE MEMORY SPACER FABRIC COMPOSITE
The invention provides a shape memory spacer fabric composite, being a spacer fabric coated with a shape memory polymer layer, wherein the spacer fabric comprises a first outer layer, a second outer layer and an intermediate spacing layer connecting the first outer layer and the second outer layer; the shape memory polymer layer is made from at least one block or random copolymer selected from the group consisting of the following: polyesters, polyurethanes, polyamides, polyols; the copolymer has at least one phase transition temperature in a range of 4080 C.
