Clothing Cuff Clip with Contamination Indicator
A clothing cuff clip attachable to an article of clothing, especially a pants leg cuff, to gather and lift the clothing up from an adjacent surface and provide a barrier between the surface and the clothing item being worn. The clothing cuff clip is inexpensive to manufacture and may be disposable after extended use. The clip is easy to attach to the lower back edge of the pants leg cuff on the item of clothing being worn and yet remains securely attached even after extended use. Optionally, a contamination indicator that changes in appearance when subjected to significant moisture, a change in pH, or the presence of a selected contaminant material, is positioned on the lower floor contact area of the clip to provide the wearer with an indication of when the clip, and therefore the item of clothing, has come into contact with contaminated materials.
Clothing cuff clip with contamination indicator
A clothing cuff clip attachable to an article of clothing, especially a pants leg cuff, to gather and lift the clothing up from an adjacent surface and provide a modest barrier between the surface and the clothing item being worn. The clothing cuff clip is inexpensive to manufacture in large quantities and may be disposable after extended use. The clip is easy to attach to the lower back edge of the pants leg cuff on the item of clothing being worn and yet remains securely attached even after extended use. SOIL, MOISTURE INDICATOR, WATER DETECTION UNIT USED IN SOIL, MOISTURE INDICATOR, BODY CASE, MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR WATER DETECTION UNIT, AND MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR SOIL MOISTURE INDICATOR
A soil moisture indicator contains a water-absorbing material and a color-changing part. A body part is formed and hollow by a material through which water does not pass, and has a water-absorbing opening proximate one end and a transpiration opening positioned near the other end. A display part is connected to the other end of the body part and allows an inner hollow portion to be viewed. An upper-end part that constitutes the end portion of the display part can be removed from and connected to the display part at the end portion on the opposite side to the end portion connected to the body. There is a change in color tone indication between a water-absorbed state and a dry state.
HUMIDITY INDICATING APPARATUS FOR DEHUMIDIFIER
The present invention discloses a humidity indicating apparatus for a dehumidifier which comprises a housing, a cavity, a transparent separation plate disposed in the cavity for dividing the cavity into a storage space and a thermal insulating space and a color-changing humidity sensor, wherein the housing has a transparent observation window corresponding to the thermal insulating space and a venting aperture corresponding to the storage space, and wherein the storage space stores the color-changing humidity sensor.

COLOR EVALUATION DEVICE, COLOR EVALUATION METHOD, AND INDICATION OBJECT USED IN COLOR EVALUATION METHOD
A calculation device comprises a color evaluation unit that acquires a sensor color and four or more reference colors from photography data from a measurement time when an indication object was photographed in a second photography environment; determines coefficients for color conversion between a first and the second photography environments based on the amount of change from color information for the reference colors in the first photography environment, which has been read from a calculation device storage unit, to color information for the reference colors in the second photography environment, which has been acquired from the photography data; and uses the sensor color acquired from the photography data from the measurement time and the color conversion coefficients to correct the sensor color to the color that would have been photographed in the first photography environment by solving a conversion formula including terms representing an affine transformation consisting of translation.
MOISTURE DETECTION SYSTEM AND METHOD
A moisture detection system includes a component including a material switchable between a first color and a second color, the component being the first color in a dry condition and the second color in a wet condition. The system also includes at least one light emitting component positioned to emit a color of light onto the component. The system further includes at least one light detection component positioned to receive a color of light after reflection of the color of light emitted by the at least one light emitting component, the color received by the light detection component indicating whether the component is in the dry condition or the wet condition.
