An electronic device valuation system is disclosed. One embodiment comprises: a display; a main body on which an electronic device is placed; a camera for capturing the electronic device by using lighting; and a controller displaying, on the display, the value of the electronic device determined on the basis of visual inspection results of the electronic device and performance inspection results of the electronic device. The visual inspection results are on the basis of an image of the electronic device captured by the camera. In addition, the lighting outputs light, but a portion of the lighting outputs light of different wavelengths so as not to offset the diffuse reflection of visual defects of the electronic device.

Method and system for determining a level of a sanding surface preparation of a carbon fiber composite surface prior to a post-processing operation

There is provided a method for determining a quality of an abrasive surface preparation of a composite surface, prior to the composite surface undergoing a post-processing operation. The method includes fabricating a plurality of levels of abrasive surface preparation standards for a reference composite surface; using one or more surface analysis tools to create target values for quantifying each of the levels; and measuring, with the surface analysis tools, one or more abrasive surface preparation locations on the composite surface of a test composite structure, to obtain one or more test result measurements. The method further includes comparing each of the one or more test result measurements to the levels, to obtain one or more test result levels; determining if the one or more test result levels meet the one or more target values; and determining whether the composite surface is acceptable to proceed with the post-processing operation.

Intelligent defect identification system

Various defects in an electronic assembly can be intelligently identified with a system having at least a server connected to a first capture module and a second capture module. The first capture module may be positioned proximal a first manufacturing line while the second capture module is positioned proximal a second manufacturing line. Images can be collected of first and second electronic assemblies by respective first and second capture modules prior to the images being sent to a classification module of the server where at least one defect is automatically detected in each of the first and second electronic assemblies concurrently with the classification module.

SYSTEM AND METHOD TO DETERMINE A SCORE INDICATING SEAL INTEGRITY IN A PACKAGE
20230251206 · 2023-08-10 ·

The present disclosure relates to a system and method to measure the quality of the inspection process by assigning a score to indicate the level of integrity of a seal of a package in a packaged product. The packaged product is run through an inspection machine, e.g., an X-ray machine, to capture an image. Image processing techniques are used to identify the seal region from the image, which is then divided into a number of sub-regions. Seal scores for each sub-region is calculated using a mathematical framework that takes into account existence (or non-existence) of certain types of defects in the sub-regions. A report is generated to display the results of the seal score determination algorithm to the entity that requested the seal score.

INFORMATION DISPLAY APPARATUS, INFORMATION DISPLAY METHOD, AND INFORMATION DISPLAY PROGRAM

In a case where a three-dimensional model of a construction stored in a storage is to be displayed on a display, an information display apparatus 10 accepts a view operation including an operation for enlarging the three-dimensional model from an operation interface and at least enlarges and displays the three-dimensional model. After a desired position on the three-dimensional model enlarged and displayed on the display is specified in accordance with a user operation, the information display apparatus identifies a three-dimensional position on the three-dimensional model corresponding to the position and identifies a management segment that is an inspection unit of the construction on the basis of the identified three-dimensional position. After the management segment is thus identified, the information display apparatus reads management information corresponding to the identified management segment from the storage and displays the management information on the display.
