Inspection system
An inspection system is configured for use with a conveyer apparatus including carrier bars. Each carrier bar conveys pellet-shaped articles along a predetermined path. The inspection system includes at least one camera unit for sensing a predetermined characteristic of the pellet-shaped articles, a removal unit, and a controller. The removal unit, downstream from the at least one camera unit, removes selected pellet-shaped article(s) from the carrier bar(s) depending on whether the characteristic is sensed by the at least one camera unit. The controller is in communication with the at least one camera unit and the removal unit. The controller provides a signal to the removal unit in accordance with the sensed characteristic. The removal unit includes a rotatable ejection drum having extended vacuum nozzles along its length, equal to the number of articles conveyed in each carrier bar. Each vacuum nozzle selectively removes article(s) from the carrier bar(s) by suction.
MULTI-WAVELENGTH WEARABLE DEVICE FOR NON-INVASIVE BLOOD MEASUREMENTS IN TISSUE
A system for measuring one or more physiological parameters is provided with a wearable device that includes a light source comprising a driver and a plurality of semiconductor sources that generate an output optical light. The wearable device comprises: one or more lenses to receive at least a portion of the output optical light and to deliver a lens output light to tissue, and a detection system to receive at least a portion of the lens output light reflected from the tissue and to generate an output signal having a signal-to-noise ratio, and to be synchronized to the light source. The detection system comprises at least one analog to digital converter coupled to at least one spatially separated detector. The plurality of semiconductor sources comprises six light emitting diodes, and wherein the plurality of semiconductor sources and the plurality of spatially separated detectors are located on one or more arcs.
Medicinal agent inspection system, winding device, feed device, and holder
To provide a medicine inspection system capable of appropriately outputting an inspection result while minimizing damage and the like to a packaging bag and a medicine. A medicine inspection system 10 includes an inspection device 20 which inspects a numerical quantity and/or a type of a medicine contained in a packaging bag p based on an image photographed of the packaging bag p to be inspected, and a marking device 50 which records an inspection result from the inspection device on the packaging bag p. After the packaging bag p, which has a seal section S formed by pressure bonding an overlapping portion of a packaging paper, is inspected at the inspection device 20, a stamp which indicates the inspection result thereof is output by a marking device 50 onto the seal section S.
Detection apparatus for detecting taking-out of contained object from blister pack, detection method therefor, and medication management system
To readily detect the taking-out of an object contained in a blister pack, there is provided a detection apparatus for detecting a timing at which a contained object is taken out from a blister pack including a plurality of containing portions and a plate-like portion that connects the plurality of containing portions. The apparatus includes a plate on which the blister pack is arranged, a plurality of light sources that emit light beams to the plurality of containing portions of the blister pack arranged on the plate, a plurality of sensors that receive the light beams emitted from the light sources, and also output electrical signals corresponding to light reception intensities, and a detector that detects the presence/absence of contained objects in the respective containing portions based on the electrical signals output from the plurality of sensors.
INSPECTION DEVICE AND PTP PACKAGING MACHINE
An inspection device is used in manufacture of a PTP sheet that comprises a container film including a pocket portion in which a content is placed and a cover film closing the pocket portion. The inspection device includes: an illumination device that emits near infrared light; a light shield that is placed between the illumination device and the container film and prevents the near infrared light from entering the container film; a through hole in the light shield that allows the near infrared light to pass through; a spectroscope that disperses reflected light from the content; an imaging device that images an optical spectrum of the reflected light and obtains spectroscopic image data; and a controller that: obtains spectral data of the content based on the spectroscopic image data; and performs a predetermined inspection with regard to the content based on the spectral data of the content.
Methods and systems for securing, delivering, and monitoring use of an active agent
Technologies are described for delivering an active agent using an ingestible pill device, securing medication package content, and monitoring the medication package content. Examples of the technology include using an ingestible pill device to deliver an active agent, where release of the active agent can be based on patient authentication, analyzing sensor data to determine a condition for releasing the active agent, analyzing image data to identify a release point, etc. Examples of the technology also include using a monitoring device to secure a medication package using a cover and locking device, monitoring the medication package to detect access to the medication package, and tracking access to the medication package to determine medication adherence.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR VISION BASED COUNTING
Disclosed are image based counting systems and methods. Image based counting systems and methods employ one or more imaging devices (e.g., one or more color cameras) and one or more illumination devices (e.g., one or more illumination sources to provide variable and/or dynamic lighting). In some examples, the image based counting system provides illumination to a tray upon which one or more items (e.g., pills) are placed.
