Skin Patch Instrument For Treating Pain
A therapeutic patch for treating pain capable of compressing a tender area up to a boundary thereof and/or an entire induration with metallic grains or crushed stones by a treatment method in accordance with a classification determined after clarifying a site of pain by pressing a skin with a pressing bar or fingers (first to fourth fingers) to classify the cause of pain, thereby finding the presence of a geographical tender area and/or the presence of an induration on a skin as the cause of pain.
Cold-warm plaster
A composition for topical application characterized in that it includes, in a hydrogel base, vanillyl butyl ether and menthol. The composition described herein produces an ordered development of cold and warm sensations, obtaining effects that are particularly useful in the treatment of painful disorders of neurological and/or muscular origin. The composition has further moisturizing and soothing effects that concur to an effect that is also curative, i.e., not simply symptomatic, of rheumatic and muscular pain, trauma and bruises. The composition is compatible with each administration form, being preferably and advantageously formulated as a plaster.
Attachable light and vibration therapy system for treatment of skin
A removably attachable phototherapy and vibration system for attachment to and treatment of skin beneath the eyes includes a therapeutic lamp platform for radiant lamps such as LEDs disposed in an assembly, and including a vibrating element, facing towards a patient and a plurality of light apertures substantially aligned with the LEDs for communicating lamp radiation from the lamps to a user. The lamps, vibrating element and associated circuitry are disposed so that the attachable surface is relatively smooth and seamless towards the patient. The system includes two devices one for the right and the other for the left eye of the user. Each device is attachable to beneath each eye with a suitable adhesive such as a reusable silicone strip. The system includes a charging dock for storing and charging the devices.
Electrically-heatable plaster
The invention relates to electrically-heatable plasters which comprise a self-adhesive skin contact layer, an electrically-conductive textile fabric in which electrically-conductive fibres are in contact with one another, as a heating element, and optionally at least one active substance, as well as to a method for production and the use of same for local heat therapy and/or transdermal application of active substances.
SELF-RETRACTABLE PATCH FOR SKIN STIMULATION
A self-retractable patch for skin stimulation is disclosed. A patch for skin stimulation includes a retractable material and a trigger material. According to one embodiment, as a patch capable of stimulating skin, a patch for skin stimulation includes a retractable material capable of retracting under a preset condition and a trigger material which applies a preset energy to the retractable material so as to achieve the condition may be provided.
Heated hydrocolloid patches for skin treatment
A skin patch that is adherable to human skin over a blemish on the skin has an outer layer that forms a physical barrier over the blemish when applied thereto and a hydrocolloid layer attached to the outer layer that contacts the blemish when applied thereto. A thermochromic material is on the skin patch and/or waterproof packaging encapsulating the skin patch. The thermochromic material indicates the skin patch is at a predetermined temperature.
THERAPEUTIC DRESSING
Therapeutic dressings for wounds are provided, as well as methods of using the same and methods of fabricating the same. A therapeutic dressing can include a central non-adherent portion, an adherent portion surrounding the central non-adherent portion, a sensor, at least one stimulating electrode, and a circuit in operable communication with the sensor and the at least one stimulating electrode. The electrode(s) can deliver an electrical stimulus to one or more nerves through the skin of a patient/user. The sensor can be, for example, an electromyography (EMG) sensor, and the therapeutic dressing can be configured such that the sensor and the electrode(s) are in direct physical contact with the skin during use.
