High pressure high temperature direct fluid injection to gas chromatography in a PVT system
A system includes a phase behavior analysis unit having a housing, a heating system connected to the housing and arranged to heat an interior of the housing, a pressure cell positioned in the interior of the housing, and a three-way valve with one inlet fluidly connected to a chamber in the pressure cell and two outlets. The system also includes a gas chromatograph that is fluidly coupled to the chamber in the pressure cell via the three-way valve.
Method for amino acid analysis and system for amino acid analysis
The present invention provides a highly versatile method for amino acid analysis, the method enabling separation and analysis of amino acids in a sample with high precision in a shorter time. This method is a method for amino acid analysis, the method including a step of allowing a sample containing a plurality of amino acids to flow together with an eluent 2 through a separation column 4 packed with a cation exchange resin, thereby separating the amino acids, and a step of detecting the separated amino acids, wherein the eluent 2 is an eluent containing a divalent or higher inorganic acid, a cation source, and water, and having a pH of 5.0 or lower, and the sample is allowed to flow through the separation column 4 heated by applying a temperature gradient including a temperature region of 100 C. or higher.
Sorbent tube apparatus
A sorbent tube apparatus (10) for high-pressure fluid sample analysis, the sorbent tube apparatus (10) comprising a pressurisable housing (32) having first and second fluid ports (48a, 48b) and defining a fluid chamber (34) therein; and a sorbent tube (12) mountable within the pressurisable housing (32), the sorbent tube (12) extending from one of the first and second fluid ports (48a) and spaced apart from the other of the first and second fluid ports (48b) to be in fluid communication with the fluid chamber (34), thereby enabling in use pressure equalisation between the sorbent tube (12) and fluid chamber (34). A method of analysing high-pressure fluid, an analytic probe apparatus, a further sorbent tube apparatus and method of preventing or limiting damage to a sorbent tube during high-pressure fluid sampling are also provided.

PACKED INCOMPRESSIBLE CHROMATOGRAPHY RESINS AND METHODS OF MAKING THE SAME
This disclosure provides chromatography columns that are packed with incompressible media such as ceramic hydroxyapatite particles, which exhibit high separation performance that is robust to transportation and multiple uses. The columns can be made by applying axial compression using rigid bodies, such as porous frits and/or flow regulators.
HPLC column
A slurry chamber is fastened to and held in coaxial alignment with a chromatography column by a V-band. One end of the column has an end cap and frit. A slurry of fluid and chromatographic media is placed in the column and chamber. A piston is forced through the chamber and into the column by a hydraulic ram to expel the fluid and form a media bed in the column. The slurry chamber is removed, and a split end cap is fastened to the column. A threaded recess in the split end cap receives a split, threaded collet. The collet is tightened until it pushes against the piston with the same force as the ram, at which point the ram is released and the column removed for use.
Piston and process column
The invention discloses a piston for a process column, said piston comprising a top side and a bed contact side, wherein said top side comprises a drainage trench.
Parallel Separation and Washing in Size Exclusion Chromatography Separation or in Desalting of a Target from a Sample
Systems and methods are provided for performing washing of columns in a simulated moving bed chromatography system while separation is being performed in the system.
DYNAMIC AXIAL COMPRESSION FOR PREPARATIVE COLUMNS USING EXTERNAL COMPRESSION
A dynamic axial compression column is disclosed herein. This dynamic axial column utilized external compression to prevent the creation of end plate space in the column. The dynamic axial column can include a tube defining a first opening, a second opening, and a lumen extending there between. The dynamic axial column can include a first end plate assembly sealing the first opening and movably extending at least partially into the lumen via the first opening, a second end plate assembly sealing the second opening, a plurality of rods extending along the outside of the tube and connecting the first end plate assembly and the second end plate assembly, and a first plurality of compression devices external to the tube and engaging one of the plurality of rods to bias the first end plate assembly towards the second end plate assembly.
System and valve for liquid chromatography
Systems for use with liquid chromatography for provision of continuous flow or gradient flow in connection with two pumps providing mobile phase to a valve.
