METHODS FOR CHROMATOGRAPHIC CHARACTERIZATION OF LIPID NANOPARTICLE COMPOSITIONS
The present disclosure is directed to methods for characterization of a sample by size exclusion chromatography (SEC), the sample including intact lipid nanoparticles (LNPs). The method generally includes loading the sample on a chromatographic column having an SEC packing material disposed therein, flowing a mobile phase through the SEC packing material to elute the intact LNPs, and detecting the eluted intact LNPs. The mobile phase includes an organic solvent, an aqueous buffer, and a non-ionic surfactant.
METHOD FOR DETECTING ASIATICOSIDE AND MADECASSOSIDE IN COSMETICS
Provided is a method for detecting asiaticoside and madecassoside in cosmetics. Asiaticoside and madecassoside are extracted from cosmetics using a mixed extraction solvent of methanol and acetonitrile, and the asiaticoside and the madecassoside are detected by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). By controlling chromatographic conditions and selecting a mobile phase with a specific composition, the asiaticoside and the madecassoside in cosmetics can be assayed.
Dual stationary phase gradient columns for new selectivities in liquid chromatography
The present disclosure is directed to liquid chromatography columns and methods utilizing a stationary phase sorbent having two or more gradient factors. Each of the two or more gradient factors varies in a progressive manner along a length of the stationary phase sorbent in a direction from an inlet to an outlet of the column (i.e., along a length of the column). As a result of including these new continuous stationary phase gradients, new selectivities allowing for separation and analysis of complex samples including large biomolecules is achievable.
COMBUSTION GAS ABSORPTION LIQUID GENERATION DEVICE AND COMBUSTION ION CHROMATOGRAPH
A combustion gas absorption liquid generation device includes a supplier, a combuster that generates a combustion gas by combusting and decomposing a sample, and an absorber that causes an absorption liquid to absorb the combustion gas generated in the combuster. The supplier supplies the sample supplied from a sample supplier to the combuster, and supplies the absorption liquid supplied from an absorption liquid supplier to the absorber.
Chromatography column comprising an internal bracing
The invention discloses a bioprocess chromatography column comprising: a) a bed chamber delimited by at least one side wall, a first bed support screen and a second bed support screen; b) a first end wall, secured to or integral with the side wall(s), with a first port fluidically connected via a first distributor to the first bed support screen; c) a second end wall, secured to or integral with the side wall(s), with a second port fluidically connected via a second distributor to the second bed support screen; d) a packing port in a wall; and e) an internal bracing, secured to, or integral with, at least one of the end walls and extending into the bed chamber.
