Biocompatible tubing for liquid chromatography systems
A biocompatible tube and fitting system that can be used in a liquid chromatography system is described. The tube can have a polymer tip and can be used in conjunction with one or more fitting assembly.
Parallel assembly of chromatography column modules
A parallel assembly of chromatography column modules, the assembly having one common assembly inlet and one common assembly outlet, each column module comprising a bed space filled with chromatography medium and each column module comprises integrated fluid conduits which when the column module is connected with other column modules are adapted to connect the bed space of the column module with the assembly inlet and the assembly outlet, wherein the total length and/or volume of the fluid conduit from the assembly inlet to one bed space together with the length and/or volume of the fluid conduit from the same bed space to the assembly outlet is substantially the same for all bed spaces and modules installed in the parallel assembly.
DIRECT CAPTURE USING LARGE BEAD CHROMATOGRAPHY MEDIA
Disclosed is a continuous process in which a subset of a number of mutually identical columns, are connected in series. The process liquid, e.g. crude cell culture harvest, is supplied to the most upstream column of the subset. It flows successively through the in series connected columns and leaves the subset through the most downstream and flows into the downstream collection vessel. As soon as the packed bed of the most upstream column is become saturated with product, this column is disconnected from the subset. It is removed from the series connection. A replacement, identical, column is added such that it is connected in series downstream from the most downstream column of the subset. This process is repeated.
Separation column connection device, connection method, and analysis system
A separation column connecting device includes: a column holder for retaining a separation column; a first fitting holder carrying a first fitting which includes a seal portion to be connected to an upstream seal portion of the separation column and connected with an upstream pipe; a second fitting holder carrying a second fitting which includes a seal portion to be connected to a downstream seal portion of the separation column and connected with a downstream pipe; a body member to which either one of the first fitting holder and the second fitting holder is fixed; a driver for moving, relative to the body member, the first fitting holder or the second fitting holder not fixed to the body member; a guide for guiding the column holder in a direction of movement driven by the driver; and an elastic body disposed between the column holder and the second fitting holder.
Multi-piece flow through connector
Flow through connectors and pressure sensing devices as well as their methods of use are described. In some instances a pressuring sensing device may include a ceramic body with a flow path extending through the ceramic body and at least one non-ceramic body attached to the ceramic body. The at least one non-ceramic body may include one or more attachment features formed therein and the flow path extends through the at least one non-ceramic body as well.
Schraubelement, System
The invention relates to a screw element comprising an internal torque limitation for fastening a line, in particular a liquid-conducting line, to a counter-piece, in particular to a device connector or to a coupling for a further line, said screw element having a connection part, which preferably has a thread, and an actuation part; and having a torque limiting unit that limits a torque that can be transmitted from the actuation part to the connection part, wherein the torque limiting unit is arranged between the connection part and the actuation part and has a limiting element, in particular a separate limiting element, that can be assembled from at least two limiting element parts connectable to one another and that limits the torque limiting unit in an axial direction of a longitudinal axis of the screw element. The invention further relates to a system comprising at least one screw element and a line fastened to the screw element.
GAS CHROMATOGRAPHY GUARD COLUMN ASSEMBLY AND GAS CHROMATOGRAPHY SYSTEM WITH GUARD COLUMN
A gas chromatography guard column assembly is disclosed including a guard column having an inlet and an outlet. The guard column is disposed in a coil having a column coil aspect ratio of less than 15. A gas chromatography system is disclosed including an oven cavity, a heater assembly, an inlet, a guard column, an analytical column, and a detector. The guard column is in fluid communication with the inlet and is disposed in a guard column coil. The analytical column is in fluid communication with the guard column and is disposed in an analytical column coil. The detector is in fluid communication with the analytical column. The analytical column coil has an analytical column coil central axis aligned with a central axis of the heater assembly, and the guard column coil has a guard column coil central axis remote from the central axis of the heater assembly.
Chromatography Column Comprising an Internal Bracing
The invention discloses a bioprocess chromatography column comprising: a) a bed chamber delimited by at least one side wall, a first bed support screen and a second bed support screen; b) a first end wall, secured to or integral with the side wall(s), with a first port fluidically connected via a first distributor to the first bed support screen; c) a second end wall, secured to or integral with the side wall(s), with a second port fluidically connected via a second distributor to the second bed support screen; d) a packing port in a wall; and e) an internal bracing, secured to, or integral with, at least one of the end walls and extending into the bed chamber.
Liquid phase chromatograph
A liquid chromatography having an on-line cleaning function, comprising a first flow channel (L3), a second flow channel (L21), an analysis flow channel (L22) and waste liquid flow channels, further comprising a cleaning flow channel (L25), a direction switch valve (V1) and a multi-flow channel switch valve (V2), etc. The liquid chromatography changes the flow path of the liquid by changing the communication relationship between the two-position switch valves, thus realizes the on-line cleaning function for a first chromatographic column (C1), a middle chromatographic column (C2), a filter or a protector (B2) respectively, and realize the simultaneous on-line cleaning function for the first chromatographic column (C1) and the middle chromatographic column (C2).
