Wound dressing with a sensor
A wound dressing includes at least one sensor generating a sensor signal. The wound dressing also includes a display configured to receive the sensor signal from the at least one sensor and present data corresponding to the sensor signal.
WOUND COVERING FOR WOUND MONITORING AND THERAPEUTIC AGENT DELIVERY
A wound covering includes a flexible main body, and a sensor element incorporated into the main body. The sensor element includes a mesh formed from a plurality of fibers, and is configured to undergo a change in appearance in response to a change in a parameter associated with wound exudate. The wound covering further includes a supply of therapeutic agent configured to diffuse therapeutic agent from the wound covering into a wound when the wound covering is placed on a wound.
PATCH FOR REGENERATING BIOLOGICAL TISSUES AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAME
Patch (1) for regenerating biological tissues in patients and method of manufacture associated with the same, comprising a collagen membrane (2) which comprises cells with a regenerative character; and at least one reinforcement element (3a, 3b) configured to increase the rigidity of said membrane (2), preventing the deformation of said membrane (2) during the handling thereof; wherein said reinforcement element (3a, 3b) can be a perimeter frame (3a) and/or a crossed attachment (3b) between the ends of said membrane (2); which provides a patch (1) which can be applied to any type of biological organ with maximum assurances of success as well as reducing the application time.
RIBBON WOUND DRESSING
An elongate wound dressing for packing a wound is described, the wound dressing being substantially planar and having a first longitudinal edge comprising at least one curved edge portion which is curved in the plane of the wound dressing.
DOUBLE-LAYER DRESSING CONTAINING SILK FIBROIN AND A METHOD FOR MAKING THE SAME
Disclosures of the present invention describe a double-layer dressing containing silk fibroin and a method for making the same. The double-layer dressing mainly comprises a silk fibroin layer and a calcium-degradation silk fibroin layer connected to the silk fibroin layer. It is worth emphasizing that, results of animal experiment have proved that this novel double-layer dressing is an outstanding hemostatic wound dressing. Moreover, additional adhesion, resulted from the solidification of tissue fluid, can be effectively prevented from forming between skin wound and wound dressing under the use of this double-layer dressing.
Biological fiber composite dressing
The present invention provides a biological fiber composite dressing. The biological fiber composite dressing includes: a cloth membrane having a first surface layer and an opposing second surface layer, wherein the cloth membrane has cloth membrane fibers; and a biological fiber membrane having a third surface layer and an opposing fourth surface layer, wherein the biological fiber membrane is formed by bacteria of the genus Gluconacetobacter, and the fourth surface layer is combined with the first surface layer, and a plurality of biological fibers being wound and combined with the cloth membrane fibers are extended along the fourth surface layer of the biological fiber membrane, such that the moisturizing effect of the dressing can be enhanced by the biological fiber membrane, thereby carrying more active ingredients.
CUSTOMIZABLE WOUND CLOSURE DEVICE AND METHOD OF USE
A negative pressure wound closure system and methods for using such a system are described. Preferred embodiments of the invention facilitate closure of the wound by preferentially contracting to provide for movement of the tissue. Some embodiments may include wound closure devices built from smaller units that are modular, assemble-able and/or customizable.
DRESSINGS FOR FILTERING WOUND FLUIDS
Disclosed herein are dressings capable of filtering, capturing, and/or releasing select biological molecules from wound exudate. In one embodiment, the dressing may include a permeable, non-adherent envelope. The permeable, non-adherent envelope may enclose a composition comprising milled hydrophobic foam.
ELASTICALLY DEFORMABLE WOUND DRESSINGS
Described herein are dressings comprising a composite island comprising a polyurethane or foam layer coupled to an absorbent layer comprising non-woven gelling fibers. Also described herein are dressings comprising an absorbent layer comprising carboxymethyl cellulose fibers and a backing layer coupled to the absorbent layer. In the respective dressings, the absorbent layer is not elastically deformable under tissue treatment conditions, whereas the polyurethane or foam layer and the backing layer are substantially elastically deformable under tissue treatment conditions. The coupling of the absorbent layer to the polyurethane/foam layer or backing layer renders the coupled structure or the entire dressing substantially elastically deformable under tissue treatment conditions. Methods of eliminating, minimizing, or reducing edema are also described herein.
ADHESIVE PATCH
The present invention relates to an adhesive patch. The adhesive patch includes a plurality of reliefs, each relief having a flat top face, and each micro channel groove defined between adjacent reliefs of the plurality of reliefs, wherein the plurality of reliefs and the micro channel groove are respectively formed on and defined the adhesive patch, and wherein a hydrogel layer is disposed on at least a portion of a bottom face of the micro channel groove and is contained in the groove. Therefore, the adhesive patch is well-adhered to a dry or wet adhered face.
