A treatment system including one or more of a wound dressing having one or more of a substrate element, a dressing member disposed on the substrate element, an adhesive element disposed on the substrate element, and a tether connecting the wound dressing to a treatment device.

DEVICES AND METHODS FOR ENHANCING IMMUNOGENICITY TO INTRADERMAL VACCINATION

Devices and methods that utilize an occlusive dressing in combination with a topical pharmaceutical agent to enhance vaccine efficacy are described. The occlusive dressing delivers a defined dose of a topical pharmaceutical agent that enhances immune system reactivity to a vaccine to the site of vaccination, and provides a barrier that maintains a layer of the topical pharmaceutical agent on the skin for a desired period to time while also providing a port through which an immunizing composition can be administered. In some embodiments the occlusive dressing includes a wound dressing for covering the injection site following vaccination.

CONFORMABLE MEDICAL DRESSING WITH SELF SUPPORTING SUBSTRATE

A medical dressing comprising a backing layer and a self-supporting substrate. The backing layers form a perimeter around the self supporting substrate and holds the self supporting substrate in place on a wound. The self supporting substrate comprises a valve. The adhesive article forms a sealed environment between the medical article and the surface surrounding the wound such that a negative pressure can be maintained in the sealed environment through the valve.

The bandage assembly includes a panel that may be positioned over a wound. An adhesive layer is coupled to the panel. The adhesive layer engages a user's skin. The panel is retained on the wound. A button is coupled to the panel. The button is engaged by the user. The button transfers direct pressure to the wound. The button stops bleeding of the wound.

Pressure device

An adhesive pressure bandage for treating a wound or reduce scarring of a skin of a patient, the pressure bandage including a pressure member made of an elastic material. The pressure member comprising a curved central portion and two end portions. The pressure member also having two sides, an inner surface facing towards the patient and an outer surface facing away from the patient, and between the inner surface and the skin of the patient is an adhesive to attach the pressure member to the skin of the patient. Between the inner surface of the pressure member and the skin of the patient is a treatment device that is in contact with the wound, after the adhesive pressure bandage is applied to the skin of the patient, this treatment device is located between a central portion of the pressure member and the wound. The curved central portion of the pressure member being such that when the treatment member is initially placed against the wound, and the adhesive pressure bandage is not yet adhered to the skin of the patient, the pressure member is concave relative to a surface of the skin of the patient. When the adhesive pressure bandage is adhered to the skin of the patient and largely follows a contour of the skin of the patient, a deflection of the adhesive pressure bandage from its initial curved state to a state where it largely follows the contour of the skin of the patient produces a therapeutic pressure on the wound of the patient.

Flexible adhesive physio tape with cooling properties
10350109 · 2019-07-16 ·

A flexible adhesive kinesiology/physio tape of the present invention adapted adapted to provide thermo-dynamic cooling. In a most general embodiment, the inventive tape includes flexible adhesive kinesiology or physio tape with thermal cooling properties including: a first layer of flexible adhesive high quality porous fabric; a second layer of flexible self-adhesive or skin adhesive high quality porous fabric; and a third layer of flexible endothermic material, sandwiched between the first and second layers. In the illustrative embodiment, the tape is a sheet of high quality porous fabric with a blend of cotton, latex or nylon and the third layer is constructed with reactants effective to cause an endothermic chemical reaction. A breakable barrier separates the reactants so cooling can be initiated at any point by manually breaking the barrier. The third layer can be implemented with liquid, with sealed borders, or with solid reactants that could be saturated or interwoven with reactants.

Methods and devices for skin tightening

The present invention relates to methods and devices for skin tightening after incising or excising tissue portions from a subject. Exemplary methods and devices include tunable dressings having an adhesive layer and a regulatable layer or an un-stretched layer that responds to one or more external stimuli to contract or expand the dressing, where the contraction or expansion can be uniform or non-uniform.
