RFID TAG, BLOOD COLLECTION TUBE, AND ANTENNA
The present invention provides an RFID tag to be applied to a container for holding liquid. To achieve a good communication distance regardless of the presence or absence of liquid, the RFID is applied to a container for holding liquid, and includes an IC chip on which identification information is recorded, and an antenna made of a loop-shaped conductor connected to the IC chip, and the antenna has a T-shaped opening in which the conductor is not formed.
CONVEYOR ASSEMBLY
A conveyor assembly for transporting a carrier coupled to a receptacle to a processing station located within a housing of an instrument. The conveyor assembly includes a spur conveyor subassembly and a buffer conveyor subassembly for transporting the carrier from a host conveyor assembly to the spur conveyor subassembly. The spur conveyor subassembly includes (i) a rotatable diverter having at least one recess for receiving and moving the carrier between the buffer conveyor subassembly and the spur conveyor subassembly and (ii) a gripper configured to grasp the carrier and move it from the diverter to the processing position located within the housing of the instrument.
CONVEYOR ASSEMBLY
An automated conveyor assembly for transporting a carrier coupled to processing receptacle from (i) a carrier conveyor assembly to (ii) a processing position within an instrument, where the automated conveyor assembly includes a gripper configured to selectively grasp a carrier and move between (i) a first position and (ii) the processing position in the instrument. The automated conveyor assembly further includes a diverter defining a recess configured to receive a carrier, the diverter being rotatable between (i) a first position at which the recess is aligned with the carrier conveyor assembly and (ii) a second position at which the recess is aligned with the first position of the gripper.
MICROFLUIDIC ROTOR DEVICE
A microfluidic rotor for characterizing analytes in a fluid includes a plurality of cuvettes containing one or more selected reagent. The rotor further includes a plurality of cuvette marks. The rotor has a cuvette mark to cuvette ratio other than 1:1. For example, the ratio of the cuvette mark to the cuvette-receiving chamber may be, in certain instances, 1:4.
CARTRIDGE AND ANALYSIS SYSTEM FOR TESTING A SAMPLE
A cartridge, an analysis system, and a method for testing a sample, such as, environmental, food or biological sample, wherein the cartridge has two memory elements that are different and/or can be read out by different methods and which correspond to the cartridge or to the batch thereof.
INSTRUMENTS, DEVICES AND CONSUMABLES FOR USE IN A WORKFLOW OF A SMART MOLECULAR ANALYSIS SYSTEM
A system for performing a molecular analysis workflow includes a reaction holder or a reaction substrate, such as a multi-well reaction plate, with a reaction holder/substrate RFID tag, and/or a reagent container with a reagent container RFID tag, and an instrument and/or device that includes an RFID reader/writer operable to read and/or write information to and from the reaction holder/substrate RFID tag and/or the reagent container RFID tag. The reaction holder/substrate RFID tag and the reagent container RFID tag can be utilized separately or together to send and receive and store information, for example, for a workflow of a molecular analysis, such as a polymerase chain reaction (PCR).
Cartridge and analysis system for testing a sample
A cartridge, an analysis system, a method and a computer program product for testing a sample, such as, environmental, food or biological sample, wherein the cartridge has two memory means that are different and/or can be read out by different methods and which correspond to the cartridge or to the batch thereof.
MOBILE HAND-HELD DEVICE WITH REUSABLE BIOSENSOR CARTRIDGE
This invention relates to a handheld mobile device which can analyze and measure whole blood, serum, urine or analytes which contain target agents such as mycotoxin, aflatoxin or cholera etc. with a easy to use reusable cartridge consisting of a cartridge head and cartridge body. The cartridge comprises four syringes, one of which being detachable. A waste reservoir is integrated with the syringes.
CONTAINER AND AUTOMATED ACCESSIONING AND ASSEMBLY PLATFORM
An accessioning system is configured to retrieve sample vials from a container. An assembly system is configured to assemble a container containing a sample vial. The container includes a base and a cap, where the cap may have a larger longitudinal length than the base. The longitudinal length of the cap may form a majority of an overall length of the container. The container may include a watertight seal. The container may also include a hydrochromic indicator configured to indicate the present or past presence of a liquid, solution, or other substance inside an internal volume of the container.
