Automatic Analyzer and Method of Storing Reagent in Automatic Analyzer
There is provided an automatic analyzer and a method of storing reagents in an automatic analyzer, in which restrictions on installation of reagent packs are smaller than those of the device in the related art. The automatic analyzer includes a reagent storage 105 that stores reagent packs 201, 301 containing reagents. The reagent storage 105 includes: a first holding unit 403 capable of holding only an immune reagent pack 201 containing a first reagent among the reagents; a second holding unit 404 capable of holding only a biochemical reagent pack 301 containing a second reagent that is different from the first reagent; and a third holding unit 405 capable of holding both the immune reagent pack 201 and the biochemical reagent pack 301.
REAGENT STORING SYSTEM, AUTOMATIC ANALYZING SYSTEM, AND PREVENTING MEMBER
A reagent storing system according to an embodiment includes: a reagent storage including a rotating table on which a reagent container is placed, a casing formed to be able to house the rotating table therein, a cover configured to cover an opening of the casing, a cooling unit, a fan configured to circulate air in the casing so that the inside of the casing is cooled by the cooling unit, and a partition part configured to partition a space formed by the cover and the casing into a space in which an opening part of the reagent container is present and a space in which a main body of the reagent container is present; and a preventing member configured, while being placed in a location where the reagent container is not placed, to prevent the air from flowing in to the opening part of the reagent container through the location.
CARTRIDGE AND ANALYSIS SYSTEM FOR TESTING A SAMPLE
A cartridge, an analysis system, and a method for testing a sample, such as, environmental, food or biological sample, wherein the cartridge has two memory elements that are different and/or can be read out by different methods and which correspond to the cartridge or to the batch thereof.
Cartridge and analysis system for testing a sample
A cartridge, an analysis system, a method and a computer program product for testing a sample, such as, environmental, food or biological sample, wherein the cartridge has two memory means that are different and/or can be read out by different methods and which correspond to the cartridge or to the batch thereof.
METHOD OF LOADING CONSUMABLES INTO A SAMPLE PROCESSING INSTRUMENT
A method of loading consumables into a sample processing instrument. In the method, a tray storing sample processing consumables is aligned with a support cavity defined by a support of the sample processing instrument. A flange is contacted with a portion of the support, where the flange extends outward from a wall of a cover coupled to the tray. The cover is decoupled from the tray by pressing a panel of the cover, and the tray is seated in the support cavity.
CHROMATOGRAPHY LAB SYSTEM FOR ANALYZING SAMPLES INCLUDING A COOLING COMPARTMENT WITH AN IDENTIFYING DEVICE THAT IDENTIFIES A FRACTION COLLECTOR DEVICE
A chromatography lab system comprising a cooling compartment arranged to hold both fraction collector devices and sample containers, whereby the cooling compartment comprises an identifying device which is arranged to identify the fraction collector devices such that fractions from the chromatography are collected only in the fraction collector devices.
Laboratory sample distribution system and laboratory automation system
A laboratory sample distribution system and a laboratory automation system comprising such a laboratory sample distribution system are presented. The laboratory sample distribution system comprises a number of sample container carriers adapted to move autonomously and to communicate with each other and with a central control unit.
Self-contained sample processing cartridge with preloaded reagent
A self-contained biological sample processing cartridge includes top and bottom portions that close together to form a sealed chamber therein. The chamber is configured to enable one of one or more biological sample staining procedures appropriate for a biological sample. The top portion includes a chamber top section and valve control elements. The bottom portion includes a chamber bottom section and fluidic valves. One of the fluid valves evacuates the contents of the chamber. One of the valve control elements couples to a respective fluidic valve to control fluid flow for the chamber. The cartridge includes a preloaded reagent component to supply the chamber with the reagent component appropriate for a particular biological sample staining procedure. A user desiring to conduct a particular biological sample staining procedure may select a particular cartridge that is preloaded with the preloaded reagent fluidic valves component appropriate for the particular biological sample staining procedure.
Automatic Analysis Device
The present invention is provided with a reagent disc on which a plurality of reagent containers each containing therein a reagent to be used for specimen analysis are loaded; a reagent loader that loads a reagent from the outside onto the reagent disc and that carries a reagent to the outside; a display unit that displays the reagents in the plurality of reagent containers arranged on the reagent disc, so as to be paired with corresponding analysis items for which the reagents are used; and a control unit that causes the reagent loader to simultaneously carry, to the outside of the reagent disc, a reagent which is selected, on the display unit, by an operation device used for an operation input from an operator instructing the reagent loader to take out the reagent and simultaneously carry a reagent which is to be used for a different analysis item to be performed simultaneously with the analysis item for the selected reagent. Thus, when a reagent is taken out or loaded, acts of mistaking the reagent or failing to load the reagent can be suppressed.
