The invention relates to a laboratory instrument for the instrument-controlled handling of a partial problem in a treatment process which contains treatments of at least one laboratory sample. The invention moreover relates to a system containing a plurality of such laboratory instruments, wherein the system serves for the instrument-controlled handling of a problem containing a plurality of these partial problems in the treatment process of at least one laboratory sample. And the invention relates to a method for the instrument-controlled handling of a partial problem in a treatment process which contains treatments of at least one laboratory sample.
SYSTEMS AND DEVICES FOR SAMPLE PREPARATION AND ANALYTE DETECTION
Provided are systems and methods of sample preparation and analyte detection.
LABORATORY SYSTEM
A method is presented. The method comprises establishing, by a communication module, a connection between an instrument data processing module and a laboratory management module via a network; identifying, by a protocol identification module, an instrument communication protocol supported by the instrument data processing module and a laboratory management module communication protocol supported by the laboratory management module; and transmitting, by the communication module, messages from the instrument data processing module to the laboratory management module in the instrument communication protocol when it is determined that the instrument communication protocol is the same as or compatible with the laboratory management module communication protocol and/or transmitting, by the communication module, messages from the laboratory management module to the instrument data processing module in the laboratory management module communication protocol when it is determined that the laboratory management module communication protocol is the same as or compatible with the instrument communication protocol.
INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEM AND INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS
An information processing system and an information processing apparatus capable of reducing an amount of data to be transferred from a local environment to a cloud environment are provided. The information processing system according to the embodiment includes a first information processing apparatus (100) and a second information processing apparatus (200), the first information processing apparatus includes a first processing unit (103) configured to generate compressed data by irradiating a measurement target dyed with a plurality of fluorescent dyes with light and performing compression processing on measurement data measured by the irradiation, using reference data for each of the fluorescent dyes used for dyeing the measurement target; and a transmission unit (104) configured to transmit the compressed data to the second information processing apparatus, and the second information processing apparatus includes a second processing unit (203) configured to generate restored data by performing restoration processing using the reference data and the compressed data received from the first information processing apparatus.
A SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DETECTING AIRBORNE PATHOGENS
A system for detecting airborne pathogens includes a pathogen collector having a surface area for pathogens to engage with and accumulate on the surface area of the collector; an electrochemical sensor for electrochemically detecting pathogens accumulated on the surface area of the pathogen collector, the electrochemical sensor comprising an electrode and a reactive substance selected to electrochemically react with the pathogens; and a pump for generating an air flow. The system is configured such that the generated air flow moves pathogens in ambient air towards and/or along the surface area of the pathogen collector such that pathogens engage and accumulate on the surface area of the pathogen collector. The system is further configured such that the reactive substance of the electrochemical sensor electrochemically reacts with the accumulated pathogens. In response to the electrochemical reaction, the electrochemical sensor's electrode detects an electronic signal that is indicative of a presence of the pathogens.
