GRAPHICAL USER INTERFACE FOR SLIDE-SCANNER CONTROL

Graphical user interface for managing a workflow of a slide scanning system. In an embodiment, the graphical user interface comprises a graphical representation of a carousel used by the scanning system. The graphical representation of the carousel comprises a graphical representation of each of a plurality of rack slots, configured to receive slide racks. The graphical representation of the carousel indicates a position of the carousel, and the graphical representation of each of the plurality of rack slots indicates a status of the represented rack slot and/or a slide rack within the represented rack slot.

AUTOMATIC ANALYSIS SYSTEM AND ALARM HANDLING METHOD

A time period that is required for dealing with the need to access another place in advance of a device which is generating an alarm is reduced. Information of a task being presently executed by a laboratory technician present in a clinical laboratory is acquired from a responsible person schedule management table. Information based on a distance between the present position of the laboratory technician present in the clinical laboratory and a positional information reference point that indicates the position first accessed by the laboratory technician to deal with the alarm and that is specified from an alarm information management table and an alarm handling access position management table is also acquired. Based on the acquired information, ordering for issuing a notification of the alarm of which generation has been detected is performed for the laboratory technician present in the clinical inspection room.

TROUBLESHOOTING BY PROXIMITY INTERACTION AND VOICE COMMAND

A system and method for presenting laboratory data to a user are presented. The system comprises a perception component for continuously gathering in-situ context data regarding a laboratory and the user, a user modeling component for receiving the in-situ context data from the perception component to create a user specific model for each user, a laboratory device awareness component for monitoring the status, performance, alarms, and/or maintenance of the laboratory devices, a notification component for receiving the in-situ context data from the perception component and the laboratory device status data from the laboratory device awareness component and for processing and determining which data from the in-situ context data and the laboratory device status data are to be presented to the user, and a presentation component for presenting the processed data from the notification component. The presented data comprises both public and private notification of the data to the user.
