Coordinated conveyors in an automated system. A system comprises a plurality of conveyors, which each comprise a plurality of segments, and one or more stations. An instruction is received to perform an operation that requires at least one station to process at least a first item held by a first segment of a first conveyor and a second item held by a second segment of a second conveyor. In response to the instruction, one or both of the first and second conveyors are moved, such that the first segment and the second segment are aligned at the station. After alignment, one or more instruments of the station process the first item and the second item.

APPARATUS FOR PERFORMING IMMUNOMETRIC TESTS
An apparatus for performing immunometric tests is described. The apparatus includes a housing element which receives and allows tests on a single use-type for a single sample test device, a reaction well containing a solid phase, a plurality of wells for reagents, a well for a sample to be analyzed, a control unit for managing the apparatus, and an image detector for acquiring images of the reaction well in communication with the control unit. The control unit processes the acquired images and performs a macroarray test relative to the sample in the test device. During processing, the control unit identifies at the reaction well of the test device, points of a matrix that includes points of analysis related to a specific biomarker that represent measurement parameters of the macroarray test, and performs the macroarray test on the basis of the points. A corresponding method and use procedure are also disclosed.
APPARATUS FOR PERFORMING IMMUNOMETRIC TESTS
An apparatus for performing immunometric tests is disclosed. The apparatus has a housing element configured to house a plurality of single sample test devices and includes housings for a solid phase, a sample to be analyzed, and reagents, means for acting on the housing element to allow the execution of the desired immunometric test, and a control unit for managing the apparatus. The apparatus includes means for the automatic execution of different immunometric tests, including a detector for executing Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) tests, a detector for executing Chemiluminescent Immunoassay (CLIA) tests; and an image detector in communication with the control unit for acquiring and processing images of the sample.
