Capillary electrophoresis system
The invention is an improved multiplex capillary electrophoresis instrument or module with at least four and preferably six user-accessible vertically stacked drawers. An x-z stage moves samples from the user accessible drawers to the capillary array for analysis. A computer program allows users to add capillary electrophoresis jobs to a queue corresponding to the analysis of rows or plates of samples without stopping or interrupting runs in progress.
Masking camera flash using reflectance
One embodiment provides systems and methods for masking the effects of a flash on an operator including: a drawer system configured to receive a tray comprising one or more laboratory containers, wherein upon receiving the tray, the drawer system centers the tray underneath an image capture device; a flash device configured to activate, based on said centering, to illuminate the one or more laboratory containers; and an image capture device configured to capture an illuminated image of the one or more laboratory containers.
Automatic alignment and label attaching apparatus for test tube
Provided is a test tube automatic alignment and label attaching apparatus including a basket formed in a box shape and whose upper surface is open to receive a plurality of test tubes and having a concave bottom surface; a test tube supply device mounted inside the basket and configured to discharge test tubes received in the basket to one side of the basket; and a test tube feeder configured to move the test tubes discharged from one side of the basket. Various other embodiments are available.
Automatic analysis device
An automated analysis device includes a reagent disc on which a plurality of reagent containers are loaded; a reagent loader that loads a reagent from the outside onto the reagent disc and carries a reagent to the outside; a display unit that displays the reagents in the plurality of reagent containers, so as to be paired with corresponding analysis items for which the reagents are used; and a control unit that causes the reagent loader to simultaneously carry, to the outside of the reagent disc, a reagent which is selected, on the display unit, by an operation device used for an operation input from an operator instructing the reagent loader to take out the reagent and simultaneously carry a reagent which is to be used for a different analysis item to be performed simultaneously with the analysis item for the selected reagent.
LIQUID HANDLING APPARATUS
The present invention is related to a liquid handling apparatus having a working platform provided with a plurality of housings for accommodation of consumable products and defining a first portion of a working surface of the apparatus and a feeding platform of the consumable products which defines a second portion of the working surface and comprises at least one modular framework provided with at least one containment frame of the consumable products; wherein the modular framework is movable with respect to the working platform to allow coupling and uncoupling of the containment frame from the modular framework, and wherein the containment frame is provided with a containment compartment, configured to allow stacking of the consumable products below the working surface, and with an opening at the working surface, configured to arrange the consumable products at the working surface.
DISPOSAL CONTAINER FOR TESTING APPARATUS AND TESTING APPARATUS
Disclosed is a testing apparatus comprising a disposal container body comprising: a first opening portion that faces upward to receive a used test piece dropped by a test piece transfer part of the testing apparatus, wherein the test piece transfer part is configured to transfer the used test piece to the first opening portion; and a second opening portion that faces laterally to receive a liquid waste and to which an end of a discharge pipe of the testing apparatus is inserted, wherein the discharge pipe is configured to transfer the liquid waste to the second opening portion.
Sample tube rack and sample tube analysing system
A sample tube rack for receiving at least one sample tube comprises an upper part comprising an upper surface, wherein at least one upper opening for receiving the sample tube is provided in the upper surface; an intermediate part comprising an intermediate surface, wherein at least one intermediate opening for receiving the sample tube is provided in the intermediate surface; and a lower part comprising a supporting surface, wherein at least one supporting position for supporting the sample tube is provided in the supporting surface. Therein, the intermediate part is connected to both the upper part and the lower part such that the at least one upper opening is substantially aligned above the at least one intermediate opening and above the at least one supporting position for receiving the at least one sample tube. At least one gripping orifice is provided in a lateral side of the lower part.
Automated Analyzing Device
The present invention provides: a drawer that is supported so as to be horizontally movable in the front-rear direction between an open position and a closed position through a front-face opening; a table that allows an expendable or a processing unit used for analysis to be mounted in the drawer; and a moving-direction transforming means that, while the drawer is moved toward the rear side from the open position to the closed position, moves horizontally until the expendable or the processing unit mounted on the table passes through the front-face opening from the front side to the rear side and moves the table toward the upper side in synchronization with the horizontal movement of the drawer toward the rear side after the expendable or the processing unit mounted on the table passes through the front-face opening. This makes it possible to easily and reliably perform the work of replacing a chip rack.
AUTOMATIC ANALYSIS APPARATUS
A driving mechanism for moving a vessel having a disposal box placed thereon in a front-rear direction the same as an opening/closing direction of a drawer is provided lower than a bottom surface of the vessel. A first rail extended in a movement direction of an operating unit, a second rail extended in a movement direction of the vessel provided in the drawer, and toothed pulleys for rotating a toothed belt within a horizontal plane are arranged. The first rail, the second rail, and the toothed belt are placed side by side without overlapping with each other in a vertical direction. As a result, the operation of taking out the disposal box in which used sample dispensing tips or reaction vessels are accumulated is simple.
Automated positive pressure solid phase extraction apparatus and method comprising a reagent dispenser apparatus and method
An automated positive pressure solid phase extraction apparatus and method comprising two tiered lifts devices each individually controllable to individually vertically translate within an elevator framework between a base on which the elevator framework is mounted and a manifold plate supported by the framework in a substantially horizontal plane parallel with and vertically above the two tiered lifts devices; a rectilinearly translating shuttle assembly comprising a shuttle supporting labware for rectilinear travel into and out of the elevator framework to handoff the labware to one of the two tiered elevator lifts or both; and a reagent dispensing system comprising a reagent dispensing manifold for dispensing liquids into wells of each column of wells of a labware filter plate carried by the shuttle.
