Also provided are methods and sample analysis systems, which may employ the RV/RV cap systems of the present disclosure.
Systems and methods for automated analysis
Aspects of the present disclosure include sample analysis methods and systems. According to certain embodiments, provided are methods of analyzing samples in an automated sample analysis system. The methods include introducing samples and sample preparation cartridges into the system, isolating and purifying an analyte (e.g., nucleic acids and/or proteins) present in the samples at a sample preparation station, and performing analyte detection assays in assay mixtures that include the purified analyte. Also provided are automated sample analysis systems that find use, e.g., in performing the methods of the present disclosure. In certain aspects, the methods and systems provide for continuous operator access during replenishment or removal of one or any combination of samples, bulk fluids, reagents, commodities, waste, and/or the like.
AUTOMATED ANALYZER
An automated analyzer is provided with one or more dispensing lines 109, 209 that are each for loading and unloading, at one end thereof, a sample rack 101 having placed therein one or more sample containers accommodating a sample for analysis and for conveying the sample rack back and forth from a dispensing position for dispensing the sample from the sample containers and sample rack removal parts 111, 211 that are provided adjacent to the other ends of the dispensing lines 109, 209 and provide and receive sample racks to and from the dispensing lines 109, 209. According to this configuration, it is possible to convey an urgent sample while suppressing device complexity, preventing cost from increasing, and also maintaining speed.
PREPROCESSING APPARATUS
A pretreatment device for performing pretreatment using a liquid sucked by a probe from an inside of a septum-attached container includes: a container holding unit which has a space for accommodating the septum-attached container and is provided with a hole into which the probe is inserted with respect to a septum of the septum-attached container to be stored; an installation unit in which the container holding unit is detachably installed; and a fixing unit which fixes the container holding unit to the installation unit in a state where the container holding unit is detachably installed in the installation unit, to solve the above-described problem.

AUTOMATED CELL PROCESSING SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A system for automated processing of a plurality of batches, each batch being derived from one biological sample, the system comprising an enclosure which can be closed and sterilized, each batch of the plurality of batches comprising one or more cell processing container; a plurality of reagent containers for holding reagents within the enclosure; at least one reagent dispenser within the enclosure for dispensing reagents during said automated processing; a quality control system within the enclosure for analyzing at least one characteristic of a batch during said automated processing; a harvester within the enclosure for harvesting batches; a robotic system within the enclosure, configured for transporting cell processing containers, decapping or otherwise opening cell processing containers, pipetting reagents or liquids from cell processing containers, and aspirating liquids from cell processing containers, during said automated processing; a tracker for electronically tracking the plurality of batches after its introduction to the enclosure; and a control unit (CU) communicatively coupled to the at least one reagent dispenser, the quality control system, the harvester, the robotic system and the tracker for controlling said automatic processing of said batches.
Soft stopper penetrating dispensing device and soft stopper penetrating dispensing method
The present invention relates to a soft stopper penetrating dispensing device and a soft stopper penetrating dispensing method. A purpose of the present invention is to suction and discharge liquid with respect to a soft stopper sealed container sealed with a soft stopper such as a rubber stopper without removing the soft stopper. The soft stopper penetrating dispensing device includes a dispensation available punching head which is provided to be relatively movable relative to a stage where the soft stopper sealed container sealed with the soft stopper is able to be placed, a punching tip which has a through-hole along the vertical direction and is made of a hard material and formed in a tapered shape, a dispensing needle tip which is movably provided relative to the head by the dispensing moving mechanism provided in the dispensation available punching head and is able to suction and discharge the liquid.
AUTOMATIC ANALYZER
An automatic analyzer with high processing capacity is capable of immediately measuring an emergency specimen rack. The automatic analyzer includes a conveying line for conveying a specimen rack, and an analysis unit which has a dispensing line in which a plurality of specimen racks are arranged for waiting until sample dispensing, and a sampling area for dispensing the sample to the analysis unit. A rack save area is provided in the dispensing line and at a position adjacent to the upstream side of the sampling area. When a specimen rack exists in the sampling area at the time of measuring an emergency specimen rack, a controller moves the specimen rack to the save area and positions the emergency specimen rack to be moved from a downstream side of the sampling area to the sampling area.
