Percutaneous absorption preparation for treating dementia comprising donepezil
A percutaneous absorption preparation is disclosed. The percutaneous absorption preparation contains donepezil for treatment of dementia, wherein the preparation includes: (a) donepezil or its pharmaceutically acceptable salt as active component, (b) propylene glycol monocaprylate as solubilizer, and (c) styrene-isoprene-styrene block copolymer (SIS) as adhesive. The percutaneous absorption preparation has low skin irritation and high skin penetration.
Dihydromyricetin Compositions
The disclosure provides dermal patch formulations that include a pharmaceutically active agent, such as one or more cannabinoids. The formulations can include dihydromyricetin for the purpose of increasing the flux of the pharmaceutical agent into human skin.
Device with transdermal therapeutic system, and positioning aid and penetration aid
A device with a positioning frame which can be adhered onto the skin and with a transdermal therapeutic system which can be inserted into a cut-out that passes through the positioning frame. The active substance dispensing outlet side of the inserted transdermal therapeutic system facing the skin. The device includes a tool unit which can be inserted into the cut-out of the positioning frame and centered in said cut-out in order to produce openings at least in the uppermost layer of the skin.
Cannabinoid Patch
The disclosure provides pharmaceuticals, cannabinoids, and nutraceuticals and dermal patches, as well as chemicals that enhance delivery of pharmaceuticals from a buccal patch or from a dermal patch, where the patch may include a film, adhesive, emulsifier, tackifier, or hydrogel.
Manufacturing method of microstructure
A manufacturing method of a microstructure includes providing a patch manufacturing sheet formed in a state in which a bottom layer is exposed on an upper part thereof; providing the patch manufacturing sheet on a first process substrate and a second process substrate; spotting a viscous composition at a plurality of positions spaced apart from each other on the bottom layer of the patch manufacturing sheet provided on only the first process substrate, or provided on both of the first process substrate and the second process substrate; contacting the patch manufacturing sheet provided on the second process substrate or the viscous composition to the viscous composition spotted on the patch manufacturing sheet provided on the first process substrate; moving relatively the second process substrate with respect to the first process substrate to stretch the viscous composition and to coagulate the stretched viscous composition; and cutting the coagulated viscous composition.
MODULAR TRANSDERMAL DELIVERY SYSTEM AND ASSOCIATED METHODS OF MANUFACTURE AND USE
A modular transdermal drug delivery system is provided, the system including: an upper module in which an outer backing layer is laminated to a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer that is covered by a removable release liner prior to assembly; and a lower module with a porous drug reservoir layer laminated to a skin-contact adhesive that affixes the system to the skin during drug delivery, where the skin-contact adhesive is, in one embodiment, an adhesive layer that is substantially co-extensive with the porous drug reservoir layer and, prior to use, protected with a second removable release liner. Methods of manufacture and use are also provided, as is an assembled transdermal drug delivery system fabricated by affixing the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer of the upper module to the porous drug reservoir layer of the lower module.
CBD-INFUSED THERAPY TAPE AND DISPENSER
A method and apparatus of a CBD-infused therapy tape and dispenser device for ease and mobile convenience for a person requiring the need of CBD for medical purposes. The device has a tape where the tape has a middle, an interior surface and an exterior surface. The tape is infused with cannabidiol (CBD) solution and a core where the core being in a middle of a tape roll when the tape is rolled around the core. And a method of making a CBD-infused tape roll by first unrolling the tape roll where the unrolled tape roll presents an interior surface and formulating a CBD solution. Then, using an applicator to applying the CBD solution onto the raw tape roll onto the interior surface of the unrolled tape roll.
Adhesive sheet for affixation to body, housed in container
Provided is an adhesive sheet for affixation to the body which is excellent in enhancement and persistence of the blood circulation promoting action, has high affixability and conformability as a sheet, and is easily and widely applicable to the body in any use situation. That is, the present invention relates to an adhesive sheet for affixation to the body housed in a container, containing the following components (A) and (B): (A) bubbles containing carbon dioxide gas in a bubble fraction of 10% or more and 40% or less, and (B) water, wherein the total area occupied by bubbles having an imaginary diameter of 5 mm or more is 10% or less, in 100% of the surface area of the adhesive sheet for affixation to the body, a content of carbon dioxide gas in the total amount of the adhesive sheet for affixation to the body is from 100 to 20,000 ppm, and the adhesive sheet for affixation to the body is sealed in a low gas-permeable container.
ADHESIVE PATCH
An adhesive patch comprising: a support; at least a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer provided on the support; and a release liner attached on the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer so as to cover the surface of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, in which the support is a 3D patterned sheet characterized in that a plurality of protruded lines and recessed lines parallelly and linearly extending are formed inside and outside lines in a plurality of figures partitioned by the lines, walls of the protruded lines and recessed lines in some of the figures are formed to be inclined by different inclination angles with respect to a base part, and the protruded lines have different heights from the base part, serving as physical parameters of the protruded lines and recessed lines, toward a predetermined direction in the sheet.
Applicators & Patches for Dermal & Transdermal Treatment Material & Drug Delivery, Methods of Making Them, & Methods of Use
Dermal and transdermal patches (also called applicators) for delivering treatment material. In certain aspects, a treatment patch for applying treatment material to the skin of living beings, for example, a mammal or animal, including, but not limited to human beings. In at least some embodiments, such a patch includes a main body made up of a plurality of interconnected subunit patches with open space between patches. Adjacent patches are connected with one, two, three or more connectors connected to each adjacent patch and extending between them. The connectors can be of the same size and thickness as the interconnected patches (often herein subunit patches). In size, the connectors can be of the same length, width, height and area as the patches. The patches can all be the same, or different patches can be used as parts of the same main body.
