Total contact cast
A lower leg and foot cast including foam padding, a stockinette, cast padding, one or more layers of conformable cast tape, a foam pad having a foot bed and left and right malleolar pads, and a foot and ankle positioning device configured to be positioned over the foam pad, the device including an under foot portion and left and right vertically-extending side extensions configured to be positioned covering the left and right malleolar pads of the foam pad.
Pair of eye goggles
A pair of eye goggles is described. The eye googles include a three axial adjustable nosepiece that can be fit over a wearer's nose including a plurality of unequal length strands on each side of the nosepiece with the strands comprising resilient properties different from the resilient properties included in the other strands in the plurality of strands on that side. The eye goggles also include a strap that can be fit removably around the wearer's head, and a pair of eyepieces. Each eyepiece includes a transparent lens that can be fit over one of the wearer's eyes, and a frame that surrounds the transparent lens to which the nosepiece and the strap are attached. The eye goggles also include a sealing pad formed on an inside-facing edge of the frame.
One-time use only cover for medical appliance
A waterproof limb cover for preventing liquid ingress to a predefined region of a limb comprising a casing with at least one opening, into which a limb can be inserted. The casing, which is impermeable to the liquid, has at least one sealing closure mechanism to sealingly enclose a predefined region of the limb. The casing further comprises at least one predefined irreversibly rupturable region. Rupture of the irreversibly rupturable region allows removal of the waterproof limb cover from the limb, and prevents undesirable reuse of the cover.
SEAL RING CAST PROTECTOR
A cast and bandage protector that uses a seal ring but avoids water pooling and seepage. It uses a flexible, stretchable and deformable diaphragm stretched tightly over a seal ring in order to seal the ordinarily open end of a flexible sleeve of waterproof material. The rigid seal ring flexible holder holds the flexible sleeve open and the diaphragm tightly stretches over and above it to minimize water pooling seepage and leaking about the interface of the diaphragm and the limb of the patient wearing the cast and the cast protector.
Leg protector
The present disclosure relates to a leg protector. The leg protector according to an example embodiment of the present disclosure includes: a protection part formed to surround at least a portion of a user's leg; a bottom plate part formed integrally with the protection part and configured to support a user's foot; and a midsole provided below the bottom plate part, wherein at least one hole is formed in the bottom plate part, a protrusion portion is formed in the midsole at a position corresponding to the at least one hole, and the protrusion portion of the midsole is configured to be inserted into the at least one hole of the bottom plate part so that the bottom plate part and the midsole are coupled to each other.
CAST COVER
A cover that is sized to secure over an appendage of an animal, such as a human is provided. The cover includes a tubular sidewall. The sidewall has a closed bottom end and an open top end formed by an upper rim. The sidewall further includes a first inner edge and a second inner edge formed along a length of the tubular sidewall and terminating at the upper rim. A first connector releasably connects the first inner edge and the second inner together, forming a water tight seal along the length of the tubular sidewall.
Wearable assembly
In one embodiment, a wearable assembly that includes a plurality of components is provided. The components include an eyepiece assembly fittable over a portion of a wearer's face, the eyepiece assembly including one or more strands, at least a portion of the eyepiece assembly including a phase change material, wherein a shape of the eyepiece assembly changes upon an application of an energy to the phase changing portion to one or more of conform and contour to one or more features of the wearer's face; and nosepiece connected to the eyepiece assembly.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING CUSTOMIZED GOGGLES
In one embodiment, a method for producing customized goggles is provided. The method includes obtaining data associated with a three-dimensional representation of at least a portion of the face of a human, wherein the three-dimensional representational data includes one or more physical measurements of at least a portion of the face of the human; analyzing, by at least one computer, the three-dimensional representational data to obtain analyzed data including a design for goggles customized to at least one of fit to and interface with at least a portion of the face of the human; and using the analyzed data for manufacturing of the goggles.
