Wrist joint bandage
A wrist joint bandage includes a main body part including a woven fabric and having a band shape and a loop face, an anchor part joined to one end of the main body part, and an engaging part joined to the other end of the main body part and having a hook face such that the hook face detachably sticks to the loop face. The main body part has a winding part on one end side of the main body part and a supporting part on the other end side such that the winding part has a straight line shape and winds around a wrist of the wearer and that the supporting part has a straight line shape and extends from the back of the hand or the palm to the wrist. The supporting part and the winding part have the straight line shapes having the same width.
PALM WRAP DEVICE
A palm wrap device to assist with deep tissue massages provides tension relief by serving as an alternative to using the thumb and is easy to use and remove. The device contains a top surface; a bottom surface; a broad end; a first protruding end; a second protruding end; a first fastener, second fastener, third fastener, and fourth fastener; a palm pocket; one or more palm wedges; and an optional wrist support band.
WRIST ORTHOSIS
A wrist orthosis (1) for support of a patient's wrist, comprising a wire frame (2) for engagement with a forearm (F), wrist (W), and hand (H) of a patient, the wire frame (2) comprising a radial wire section (3) configured to extend in a distal direction along the forearm, wrist and toward a radial side of the hand. The radial wire section (3) is connected to a palmar wire section (4) configured to extend in lateral direction from the radial side of the hand along a palmar region (6) thereof toward an ulnar side of the hand. The palmar wire section (4) is connected to an ulnar wire section (5) configured to extend from the ulnar side of the hand in proximal direction toward an along the wrist and forearm. The radial and ulnar wire sections (3,5) are laterally spaced apart along an intermediate dorsal region (7) of the hand.
Post-operative support apparatus for a patients residual limb
A post-operative support apparatus for a patient's residual limb includes: a planar, stretchable and flexible wrap panel sized to wrap around an outer circumference of a patient's residual limb, along a length of the patient's residual limb, where the wrap panel includes one or more fasteners (such as hook & loop fastener components) for maintaining the wrap panel in place around the patient's residual limb; a pair of substantially rigid, elongated side support panels to respectively apply to the medial and lateral sides of the patient's residual limb, over the wrap panel; a distal cushion to apply against a distal end of the patient's residual limb; and a retainer maintaining the distal cushion against the patient's residual limb.
DEFORMABLE THERMAL PACK
A thermal pack for use with a device for circulating hot or cold fluid, the thermal pack including: a body having a cavity; a bendable and deformable support one of attached to or disposed within the body, the support being configured such that the body is deformed into a shape matching a contour of a body part and the body is maintained in the shape while applied to the body part by the support; and tubing having one end in fluid communication with the cavity and another end in fluid communication with the device such that the device circulates a hot or cold fluid through the cavity via the tubing.
NON-ADHESIVE ELASTOMERIC ARTICLES
Non-adhesive articles include an elastomeric layer, where the elastomeric layer has a plurality of cuts arrayed in a pattern. The cuts are gaps, but the gaps are not visible to the naked eye when the article is in an unstressed state, and in a stressed state, at least some of the cuts become gaps that are visible to the naked eye. The gaps are perforations in the elastomeric layer and are apertures through which one can view through the elastomeric layer. The perforations indicate the presence of stress in the article, and the elastomeric layer has a lower effective modulus of elasticity in at least one axis than an identical elastomeric layer without the plurality of cuts.
Compressive Brace for Intraarticular Needle Procedures
A compressive brace for intraarticular needle procedures that provides constant radial compression. One embodiment comprises a non-pneumatic releasable compressive planar device or tubular sleeve, a method to apply tension to the device or sleeve comprising a non-stretchable material or stretchable elastomeric material with fasteners or external compression straps or both resulting in fluid displacement and increased intraarticular fluid pressure, a design that displaces fluid within the joint to low pressure areas to be readily accessible by needle or catheter via specific anatomic portals so that the joint can be completely aspirated, tension and pressure can be released so that fluid can be easily removed or injected into the joint, and integration of the device into arthrocentesis, surgical, diagnostic, and joint therapy kits. Some embodiments define a window or aperture to allow pooling of fluid and to introduce needles and catheters. Some embodiments dilate the patellofemoral joint and may displace the patella-making introduction of the needle more successful.
Cuff for orthotic treatment
The invention relates to a cuff for orthotic treatment of joint or muscle pains in the region of joints of the human or animal body, which as a cross cuff has a first cuff part (1) for application on a first body part below the joint and a second cuff part (2) for application on a second body part above the joint, wherein the two cuff parts are joined to one another by means of a connection region (3) and in each case are formed from a belt that is provided with fastening means and may be laid around the respective body part, wherein the connection region (3) between the two cuff parts on placement of the cuff on the body in the region of the inside of the joint impedes extension of the first body part with respect to the second body part, in that the connecting region is displaced under tensile stress. According to the invention, at least one partial region (4) of the second cuff part (2) above the joint is made to be stretchable (FIG. 1).
Reduction kits
The present invention relates to garments and kits, including uses thereof, for providing therapeutic compression such as compression therapy for the treatment of circulatory disorders such as Lymphedema and Venous Disease.
WRAP AND METHOD TO PROVIDE COMPRESSION, AND PROTECTION TO BODY PART OF USER
Disclosed is a wrap which is removably attached with a body part of a user to provide support, compression and protection. The wrap includes first sensing unit, second sensing unit, movement unit, adjuster unit, and DC motor unit. The first sensing unit senses the physiological state of the user's body. The second sensing unit measures the dimension of the body part of the user. The body part is selected from at least one of: wrist, ankle, lower back, knee and/or combination thereof. The movement unit receives sensed information from first sensing unit, and second sensing unit to support an inflate mechanism and deflate mechanism to provide desired support and compression to the body part of the user. The adjuster unit configured with the movement unit to engage or disengage the wrap from the body part of the user. The DC motor unit which further includes a rechargeable battery powers the first sensing unit, second sensing unit, movement unit, and the adjuster unit.
