12268892 · 2025-04-08 ·

A removably attachable phototherapy and vibration system for attachment to and treatment of skin beneath the eyes includes a therapeutic lamp platform for radiant lamps such as LEDs disposed in an assembly, and including a vibrating element, facing towards a patient and a plurality of light apertures substantially aligned with the LEDs for communicating lamp radiation from the lamps to a user. The lamps, vibrating element and associated circuitry are disposed so that the attachable surface is relatively smooth and seamless towards the patient. The system includes two devices one for the right and the other for the left eye of the user. Each device is attachable to beneath each eye with a suitable adhesive such as a reusable silicone strip. The system includes a charging dock for storing and charging the devices.

ADHESIVE EYELID CLOSURE ARTICLE

The disclosed adhesive eyelid closure article has a support layer and a pressure sensitive adhesive on the support layer. The support layer defines a main body and a non-adhesive tab area. The support layer has a central portion and an outer circumferential portion. The non-adhesive tab area is delimited by two recesses located in the outer circumferential portion of the support layer. The support layer has a first major surface and a second major surface opposite to the first major surface. The pressure sensitive adhesive is on at least part of the outer circumferential portion of the first major surface of the support layer, forming an adhesive coated area of the support layer.

CONFORMABLE THERAPEUTIC SHIELD FOR VISION AND PAIN

A conformable covering comprises an outer portion with rigidity to resist movement on the cornea and an inner portion to contact the cornea and provide an environment for epithelial regeneration. The inner portion of the covering can be configured in many ways so as to conform at least partially to an ablated stromal surface so as to correct vision. The conformable inner portion may have at least some rigidity so as to smooth the epithelium such that the epithelium regenerates rapidly and is guided with the covering so as to form a smooth layer for vision. The inner portion may comprise an amount of rigidity within a range from about 1104 Pa*m3 to about 5104 Pa*m3 so as to deflect and conform at least partially to the ablated cornea and smooth an inner portion of the ablation with an amount of pressure when deflected.

CONTROLLER FOR DRY EYE TREATMENT SYSTEMS

Controllers for dry eye treatment apparatus and methods are described herein which generally comprise a patch or strip affixed to the skin of the upper and/or lower eyelids to deliver heat to the one or more meibomian glands contained within the underlying skin. The treatment strip or strips include one or more strips configured to adhere to an underlying region of skin in proximity to one or both eyes of a subject such that the one or more strips allow for the subject to blink naturally without restriction from the one or more patches. A controller is in communication with the one or more strips and is programmable to monitor a temperature of the one or more strips to provide a treatment therapy above a threshold temperature of, e.g., 39 C., and below a maximum temperature of, e.g., 48 C., over a treatment period of 12 minutes.
