TUBE SECUREMENT DEVICE WITH ADJUSTABLE SIZE
The disclosed tube securement device (100) is adjustable in size to fit varying sizes and shapes of a part of the body. The tube securement device (100) comprises a backing (110) forming a first end section (120), a second end section (130), and a midsection (140). A first adhesive (122) is on at least a portion of the first major surface (112) of the first end section (120). A second adhesive (132) is on at least a portion the second end section (130). A first perforation line (123) is through the first end section (120) to form a first removable portion (124). In use, the first removable portion (124) can be separated from the first end section (120).
NASAL COMPRESSION DEVICE
A nose compression device to treat a nosebleed. The device has a wire frame with a straight middle section and two side sections angled with respect to the middle section to apply an inward compression against an outside of the person's nose. The device also includes a support member attached to the wire frame. And, a single nasal sponge attached to the body and having a central sponge portion and two opposing sponge end portions, each of said two opposing sponge end portions configured for insertion into the person's nasal passages.
Nasal drip pad
An apparatus that includes an absorber, a positioner, and an estimator, where the positioner and estimator are coupled to the absorber. The absorber includes absorbent material configured to capture nasal drainage. The positioner places the absorber in proximity to a person's nose. The estimator provides an indication of an amount of drainage captured by the absorber.
NASAL CAVITY PACKING STRUCTURE
The present invention provides a nasal cavity packing structure which comprises: a pad extending along a first direction, having a shape pressed in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction, and including a first hollow extending along the first direction inside the pad; and an elastic tube an outer circumferential surface of which is closely adhered to an inner circumferential surface of the pad.
Protective face covering
Disclosed herein are facial covering that are configured to be placed on facial skin and that may be placed on the skin in a sealed relationship such that air leakage is minimized. The covering may include a member configured to fit flush against skin surrounding at least one of nasal air passages and a mouth of a user, the member including at least one aperture to permit breathing through the nasal air passages, the member being configured to adhere to the skin; and filter material positioned within a space defined by the at least one aperture.
Skin Protection Device
The present invention relates to a skin protection device primarily comprised of a body with a top surface and a bottom surface, and a backing sheet. The body is preferably flexible and is manufactured from a biodegradable, waterproof, and UV-resistant/UV-blocking material that is plastic, fabric, or latex-based. In addition, the body may be infused with a plurality of zinc particles/compounds to protect against sun/UV damage and may have differing levels of SPF protection. The body is preferably colored to resemble the skin shade or tone of the user and has an adhesive bottom surface that can adhere to a user's skin. The body may be appropriately shaped in any conventional or non-conventional shape that may or may not mimic the shape of the body part it is being applied to.
Fixing Device fo Nasogastric Tube
A fixing device of a nasogastric tube contains: an adhesion member, a connection member, and a retainer. The adhesion member includes an adhesive face, a circular column, and an engagement portion. The connection member includes a connecting sheet, a locating post, and a spherical portion. The connecting sheet has a rectangular slot and an annular orifice, such that the annular orifice accommodates the engagement portion of the adhesion member, the rectangular slot slidably receives the circular column of the adhesion member, an end of the connecting sheet proximate to the annular orifice is connected with the locating post, and the other end of the locating post is connected with the spherical portion. The retainer includes a coupling bar and a joining knob. The retainer further includes a clamp section and two press portions. Furthermore, the clamp section has a hollowly circular space defined therein.
NASAL COMPRESSION DEVICE
A nose compression device for treating a nosebleed of a person. The device includes a wire frame having a straight middle section and two end sections angled with respect to the middle section. The device also has a body attached to the wire frame, and two nasal sponges attached to the body for insertion into the person's nasal passages. The end sections are wider than the user's nose, and the device is slid upward on the user's face so that the nasal sponges enter the user's nasal passages. The end sections are then bent inward to a pinch position where they pinch the upper lateral side surfaces of the user's nose. The nasal sponges can be pre-treated with medication to further stop the nosebleed. Ice pack may also be provided that extends over the compression device. The combination of compression, medication, and cooling facilitate treatment of the nosebleed.
Method and device for packing a body cavity and delivering a medicament to a subject
A medical packing device for use within a body cavity of a subject is provided. The medical packing device comprises an absorbent member having at least a first major side surface and at least one depression that is formed in the first major side surface and has a predetermined shape and volume. The at least one depression is defined by a continuous perimeter wall that is formed in the first major side surface and forms a reservoir capable of receiving and retaining a volume of a medicament therein.
