Optical data cable handling on patient table of MRI system
An arrangement and system places an external cable into a slot. The arrangement includes a slot extending from a first end to a second end. The slot includes a recess configured to receive a cable therein. The arrangement includes a movable component configured to slide along a length of the slot. The movable component includes a first end and a second end. Sliding the movable component along the slot in a first direction from the first end to the second end of the slot one of frees a first portion of the cable from the slot or places a second portion of the cable in the slot.
Perfusion phantom for MRI and an apparatus, system and method for validating MR images of a phantom
A perfusion chamber for use in a phantom includes a waterproof housing containing a porous material defining fluid paths between pores and tubular channels within the porous material. A reservoir for use in a phantom, a pump mechanism for use within the bore of an MRI scanner, a phantom for use in an MRI scanner, and a method for calibrating a scanning device are disclosed. Also disclosed is apparatus for validating images of a phantom that includes: one or more sensors for coupling to a phantom to be imaged; a control/logging system configured to: collect sensor data during imaging of the phantom and pass this as input to a computer model; compare the image data with reference image data produced using the computer model; and return a pass score depending on the comparison. A system and method for verifying images of a phantom are also disclosed.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DATA TRANSMISSION IN IMAGING SYSTEM
Systems and methods for data transmission may be provided. The system may at least include a data transmission module. The system may obtain MR signals from one or more RF coils. The system may generate, via a first portion of the data transmitting module, first data based on the MR signals. The system may generate, via a second portion of the data transmitting module, second data based on the first data. The second portion of the data transmitting module may connect to the first portion of the data transmitting module wirelessly. The system may further store the second data in a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium.
COUPLING DEVICE FOR AN NMR FLOW CELL
A flow cell assembly for use in NMR measurements on a liquid NMR sample in an NMR spectrometer has a cylindrical flow cell for receiving the NMR sample, with a first opening at a first end and a second opening at a second end, and a connecting piece arranged at the first opening for connecting a flow line to the flow cell in a fluid-tight manner. An opening diameter d.sub.op of the first opening is smaller than an inner flow cell diameter d.sub.in, and a sealing head of the connecting piece is arranged in the first opening, with a sealing head diameter d.sub.seal larger than d.sub.op. For NMR measurements, the flow cell assembly is modified in such a way that the flow lines can be easily exchanged, and high-quality NMR flow measurements can be carried out independently of the orientation of the magnetic field in the NMR spectrometer.
