SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR IMPROVED GEOLOCATION IN A LOW POWER WIDE AREA NETWORK
Systems and methods for improved geolocation in a network are disclosed. An end node may transmit a signal. The signal may be received by a plurality of computing devices. Receipt times of the signal at the plurality of computing devices may be used to determine a location of the end node.
WIRELESS LOCATOR
Provided is a wireless locator. The wireless locator includes a locator body and a charging connector movably connected to the locator body. The locator body includes an accommodation groove and a first electrical connection structure. The charging connector includes a second electrical connection structure and a plug-in tongue which may be accommodated in the accommodation groove. When the wireless locator is charged, the plug-in tongue is taken out from the accommodation groove, the first electrical connection structure of the locator body and the second electrical connection structure of the charging connector are connected, and the plug-in tongue is connected to an external charging interface. In this way, a rechargeable battery in the wireless locator is charged.
ATTACHMENT USAGE SYSTEM
An attachment is operable to have therein or thereon a transmitter to periodically transmit a first wireless signal which includes a piece of first attachment information relating to the attachment and which is compliant with a near field communication standard. A portable device is operable to transmit a second wireless signal which includes a piece of second attachment information relating to the attachment to be attached to a hitch of a working vehicle and which is compliant with the near field communication standard. A vehicle controller of the working vehicle is configured or programmed to perform a selecting process to select, according to a predetermined condition, a piece of attachment information included in one of one or more of the first and/or second wireless signals received by a receiver, and perform a predetermined process based on the piece of attachment information selected in the selecting process.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MACHINE PLACEMENT
A reach and placement tool includes an eyepiece, an orientation sensor, a distance sensor, and a controller. The controller is configured to obtain a distance value and an orientation from the distance sensor and the orientation sensor when the reach and placement tool is directed towards a point of interest at a particular location. The controller is also configured to determine a coordinate of the point of interest using the distance value and the orientation, and compare the coordinate of the point of interest to a reach envelope to determine if the point of interest is within range of a particular reach apparatus.
SYSTEM, METHOD AND COMPUTER PROGRAM FOR A MONITORING SYSTEM
Disclosed is a system, method, mobile communication device and one or more computer programs for a monitoring system. In one aspect, the system includes a plurality of transmitters, each transmitter having associated therewith a reflector antenna configured to substantially reflect signal transmission toward a detection area; and a mobile device configured to: receive transmitter signals from at least two transmitters from the plurality of transmitters; and determine that the mobile device is located within the detection area based on received signal strengths of the at least some of the transmitter signals.
Range and position determination system and method
A lift machine including a frame, a platform movable relative to the frame and structured to support a user, and a range and position determination system. The range and position determination system including a base unit coupled to the frame and structured to determine a platform position relative to the frame, a human machine interface structured to identify a desired position, and one or more processing circuits structured to: receive a total weight of the platform, determine distance and orientation information of the desired position, query a load map, return an acceptable status when the distance and orientation information and the total weight are within the operational envelope, return an unacceptable status when the distance and orientation information and the total weight are outside the operational envelope, and output the acceptable status or the unacceptable status to the human machine interface for display to the user.
