Systems and methods for cross-reference navigation using low latency communications

Disclosed are methods, systems, and non-transitory computer-readable medium for vehicle navigation processing. For instance, the method may include scanning for one or more terminals within a predetermined vicinity of the vehicle via a low latency communication network and receiving positional data of the one or more terminals via the low latency communication network. The method may further include receiving directional data of the one or more terminals relative to the vehicle, determining a first location of the vehicle relative to the one or more terminals based on the directional data, and determining a second location of the vehicle relative to the environment based on the positional data and the first location.

Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Search and Rescue System

A search and rescue drone system includes a buoyant body member, a frame attached to the buoyant body member for carrying a motor and propeller, and an electronic array including a camera, GPS, an EPIRB radio distress beacon, and a transmitter/receiver for remote control flying the drone and communicating with an operator. A laser guidance system may provide coordinates for landing near a swimmer in distress. The search and rescue drone may also be programmed to simply fly to the location of an electronic wearable device, like a bracelet, that is worn by a man overboard. In another embodiment, the search and rescue drone includes pivoting motor mounts, so that it can take off and land vertically with propellers rotating in a horizontal plane, and then the propellers may pivot to rotate in a vertical plane for propulsion across water similar to a fan boat with rescued people aboard.

A geolocationing system and method for providing awareness in a multi-space environment, such as a hospitality environment or educational environment, are presented. In one embodiment of the geolocationing system, an array of gateway devices is provided. Each gateway device includes a gateway device identification providing an accurately-known fixed location within the multi-space environment. Each gateway device includes a wireless transceiver that receives a beacon signal from a proximate wireless-enabled personal locator device. The gateway devices, in turn, send gateway signals to a server, which determines estimated location of the wireless-enabled personal locator device with transmitted signal strength modeling.

Systems and methods for activating a radio beacon for global aircraft tracking

An autonomous distress tracking system for an aircraft is described. The system can include a transponder configured to transmit radio frequency (RF) emissions and an RF detector unit configured to detect the RF emissions. The system can further include an alert system that is in communication with the RF detector unit and be configured to activate a distress radio beacon if no RF emissions are detected within a predetermined period of time.

Systems, methods, devices and arrangements for emergency call services and emergency broadcasts
11164096 · 2021-11-02 · ·

A variety of methods, systems, devices and arrangements are implemented for emergency call centers. According to one such method, a location database is populated from a plurality of endpoint devices. The location database determines locations for nodes in a data transmission route from information received from the endpoint devices. Emergency calls using these nodes are located using the populated database.

SECURITY SYSTEM FOR REAL-TIME INTERACTION WITH A NETWORK OF WEARABLE USER DEVICES
20230333197 · 2023-10-19 · ·

A security system includes an emergency system to establish a connection with a plurality of wearable devices; receive a duress signal transmitted from the wearable device; generate and transmit a request signal to the wearable device configured to cause the wearable device to request confirmation from the user, receive confirmation from the user, and transmit a confirmation signal to the security system; receive the confirmation signal transmitted from the wearable device; analyze the confirmation signal to determine whether the confirmation signal confirms that the user of the wearable device is under duress; in response to confirming the user is under duress, contact security or police services and communicate at least the location of the user to the security or police services; and in response to failing to confirm the user is under duress, stand down without contacting security or police services.

WEARABLE SECURITY ALARM DEVICE AND ALERTING SYSTEM
20230333196 · 2023-10-19 · ·

A wearable device detects a security incident and initiates an alarm protocol. The wearable receives user input via the user interface indicating that the user is under duress; confirms that the user is under duress by receiving initial confirmatory user input via the user interface; determines a location of the user using the location device; and in response to receiving confirmation that the user is under duress, transmits a duress signal to an emergency system across a wireless network connection, the duress signal indicating that the user is under duress and indicating the location of the user, whereby the emergency system is configured to alert police and/or security of the security incident.

First Responder Elevation Detection via Drone and 3-Way Communication Telemetry System

A tracker device for a first responder including a radio configured to receive a first radio signal from an emitter, and receive a second radio signal from an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). The second radio signal includes at least one data packet including location information associated with the emitter. Processing circuitry in communication with the radio is configured to determine at least one location parameter associated with the emitter based on the first radio signal and the location information of the at least one data packet of the second radio signal.

Cooperative Target Positioning System
20230141969 · 2023-05-11 ·

A system provides a way to determine angle of bearing to a target receiver/transmitter relative to plural beacon stations with rotating directional radiation patterns. The target is “cooperative” in that it transmits a “report” message when the target receives maximum signal strength from a beacon station. Triangulation from multiple beacon transmitter sites can be used to determine the target's position.
