20200241108 · 2020-07-30 ·

A radar device includes a transmitter, a receiver and processing circuitry. The transmitter transmits a first pulse signal and a second pulse signal, a pulse width of the second pulse signal being wider than a pulse width of the first pulse signal. The receiver may receive a first reception signal including a reflection signal of the first pulse signal and a second reception signal including a reflection signal of the second pulse signal. The processing circuitry may be configured to compare, in a first section that is at least partly in a distance direction, a signal intensity of the first reception signal with a signal intensity of the second reception signal, and generate a display signal based on a result of the comparison.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DETECTING AN ELECTROMAGNETIC SIGNAL IN A CONSTANT INTERFERENCE ENVIRONMENT

Described herein are systems and methods that detect an electromagnetic signal in a constant interference environment. In one embodiment, the electromagnetic signal is a light signal. A constant interference detector may detect false signal hits generated by constant interference, such as bright light saturation, from valid signals. The constant interference detector determines if there is constant interference for a time period that is greater than a time period of the valid signal. In one embodiment, if a received signal exceeds a programmable threshold value for a programmable period of time, when compared to previously stored ambient light, a control signal is generated to inform the next higher network layer of a sudden change in ambient light. This control signal can be used to either discard the present return or process the signal in a different way. A constant interference detector may be a component of a LIDAR system.

Image processing device and image processing method

An image processing device according to an aspect of the embodiment includes a display controller and a determining unit. The display controller generates a synthesized image when viewing a perimeter of a vehicle from a virtual viewpoint based on an image from an image capturing device and causes a display unit to display the synthesized image. The determining unit determines, in a case where a screen other than a virtual viewpoint screen including the synthesized image is displayed on the display unit, whether a switching condition to a notification screen for notifying an occupant of presence of an obstacle is satisfied when the obstacle is detected by a detector. The display controller causes the display unit to display the notification screen obtained by superimposing a predetermined notification image on the virtual viewpoint screen, when the determining unit determines that the switching condition is satisfied.

An AIS information display device comprises an information acquisition component, an icon generator, and a display component. The information acquisition component acquires bearing information, which is information about the bearing of other targets with respect to the position of the host vessel. The icon generator uses an icon-use host vessel symbol S3 and one other target symbol S2 to generate an icon 19 that indicates the relative bearings of the host vessel and another target. The display component displays the icon 19 generated by the icon generator. Consequently, a ship display device can be provided which makes every target easy to understand, even when there are many other targets around the host vessel.
