SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR TURBULENCE DETECTION
An aircraft hazard warning system or method can be utilized to determine a location of turbulence, hail or other hazard for an aircraft. The aircraft hazard warning system can utilize processing electronics coupled to an antenna. The processing electronics can determine an inferred presence of a weather condition in response to lightning sensor data, radar reflectivity data, turbulence data, geographic location data, vertical structure analysis data, and/or temperature data. The system can include a display for showing the weather condition and its location.

INTERFACE FOR REALTIME, 3D RADAR ACTIVITY VISUALIZATION
Methods and apparatus for providing realtime, 3D visualization of radar system functionality. A visualization system can receive information from a radar system, such as radar commands and radar parameters. After extracting data from the commands and/or parameters, the visualization system generates a three-dimensional (3D), realtime display showing a field of view (FOV) of radar operations including representations of beams generated by the radar system and targets tracked by the radar system.

METHOD FOR ASSISTING WITH NAVIGATION
A method of assisting navigation of a vehicle, the method comprising the steps of: at predetermined instants, determining first positions and second positions of the vehicle by different positioning means and calculating the discrepancy between each pair of first and second positions; comparing the discrepancy with a warning threshold; defining a reference frame on a screen, the reference frame being centered on a reference point corresponding to the most recent first position; and symbolizing the discrepancies on the screen by allocating a symbol to each discrepancy and by positioning each symbol on the screen, relative to the reference point, while taking account both of the value of the discrepancy and also of the path travelled by the vehicle since calculating the discrepancy, the first symbols being provided with respective chronological indicators.
Echo image generating device
An echo image generating device may be provided, which includes a signal acquiring module, a sensitivity setting module, and a screen generating module. The signal acquiring module may acquire an echo signal from a target object around a ship. The sensitivity setting module may perform a first sensitivity setting for the echo signal in a first range, and a second sensitivity setting for the echo signal in a second range without including the first range, the second sensitivity setting being different from the first sensitivity setting. The screen generating module may generate an echo image of the first range based on the first sensitivity setting, and generate an echo image of the second range based on the second sensitivity setting.

Apparatus, method and program for processing data
A data processing apparatus is provided, which includes processing circuitry. The processing circuitry is configured to acquire a data set from target detected by a detection apparatus, perform rendering of the data set, and generate a plurality of views arranged on a screen. Each view of the plurality of views includes a plurality of pixels. Each pixel included in the plurality of views is associated with a plurality of pieces of information including a first information displayed on the screen and a second information that indicates a view among the plurality of views to which the pixel belongs.
Enhanced awareness of obstacle proximity
In some examples, a ground obstacle detection system of an aircraft is configured to generate and display a graphical user interface (GUI) that includes a graphical representation of a detected obstacle with which the aircraft may collide during a ground operation and an indication of an area of unknown associated with the detected obstacle. Instead of, in addition to, a GUI that includes an indication of an area of unknown associated with an obstacle, in some examples, a ground obstacle detection system to generate a GUI that includes at least two windows that present different views of an aircraft. At least one of the windows may include a graphical representation of an obstacle that may not be visible in the view of another window.
