Method for assembling a garment portion
A method for assembling a garment portion including accessing a first garment portion, a second garment portion and a fixture, wherein the first garment portion is generally tubular and has two plies. The method further includes positioning the first garment portion on the fixture such that the fixture is positioned in the first garment portion, and wrapping the second garment portion about the first garment portion. The method further includes unrolling or unfolding at least part of the first garment portion over the second garment portion such that the second garment portion is positioned between the two plies of the first garment portion.

Athletic garment with perspiration absorption towel
A jersey for management of perspiration having a perspiration absorption towel. The perspiration absorption towel is removably or permanently affixed along the front interior of the collar of the jersey. The perspiration absorption towel has a collar-region width less than the collar width by an amount which optimizes access to and removability of the perspiration absorption towel. The perspiration absorption towel has a length which relative to the collar-region width which balances usefulness and ease of return to the non-use position of the perspiration absorption towel.
Disposable sleeve member to absorb moisture from coughing or sneezing and method of using the same
A simple wearable member having germ absorbing layers that include germicide particles is provided. The germicide particles in the germ absorbing layer can capture the germs expelled into the air when a user coughs or sneezes into the wearable member. Once the germs are captured in the germ absorbing layer, the germs are neutralized by the germicide particles. In order to enhance the probability of capturing most of the germs expelled, the germ absorbing layer includes various fibers with shapes and patterns. The flexible fibers are treated to have germicide particles in them. The various shapes, sizes, and patterns of the flexible fibers create a large surface area that the germs can contact when they are expelled into the air. Once the germ absorbing layer is used the layer may be discarded and a new layer may be attached to the wearable member for repeated use.

Heat shielding sleeve
A heat shielding sleeve defining a limb placement zone and including an installed position encapsulating a user's limb and an uninstalled position removed from a user's limb. The heat shielding sleeve further comprises an elastic or semi-elastic outer layer operably configured to enclose a user's leg and a secondary layer defined by a plurality of raised members wherein the secondary layer and the plurality of raised members are comprised of a thermally insulating material. The secondary layer further defines a plurality of exhaust apertures designed to provide thermal venting of the user's skin. The heat shielding sleeve is designed to protect motorcycle riders' and passengers' lower limbs from burns caused when riders and passengers come into physical contact with a motorcycle's exhaust pipes or the gas emissions emanating therefrom, while providing a comfortable and breathable garment sleeve that may be operably adjusted to the comfort of the user.

Garment having integrated perspiration barriers
In accordance with the present invention, there is provided a garment or undergarment (e.g., a T-shirt) which is provided with integrated multi-layer perspiration barriers uniquely configured to provide high levels of evaporative cooling and moisture vapor transmission. The perspiration barriers are integrated into the sleeve and torso portions of the garment such that such perspiration barriers actually define the underarm portions thereof. Each of the perspiration barriers is preferably comprised of four layers, each of which is formed from two separate panel pieces. The various layers included in each of the perspiration barriers, the manner in which such layers are stacked upon and attached to each other, and the manner in which the layers forming each perspiration barrier are integrated into the garment are specifically adapted to collectively promote evaporative cooling and a vapor transmission effect which provides superior perspiration absorption and evaporation, in addition to enhanced user comfort.
Glove palm cover
A cover for a glove having a back, a wrist, a thumb, index fingers, a web, a sizing strap, and a hook and loop fastener, the cover incorporating a sheet having a flexible base and a loop attached to the base; a web arm attached to the flexible sheet and extending oppositely from the base; a wrist arm attached to the flexible sheet and extending oppositely from the base; a first hook and loop fastener attached to the web arm and adapted for, upon attaching the loop to the sizing strap, wrapping around the glove and engaging the glove's hook and loop fastener; and a second hook and loop fastener attached to the wrist arm and adapted for wrapping around the glove's wrist and engaging the glove's hook and loop fastener.
