20170346820 · 2017-11-30 ·

A unique electronic communications account is generated and linked to a physical address of a user. A network of electronic mail addresses linked to physical addresses can be used for the transmission of information in electronic or physical form. Users can send information to a single recipient or multiple recipients by selecting the recipient or an area of recipients on a map generated by the system. A plurality of users can use a single e-mail address linked to a physical address through creation and storage of user profiles. Users can deactivate and transfer their unique electronic mail address upon relocation to a new physical address. The communication platform can overcome technical problems and limitations of electronic mail existing today. The communication platform can create a transparent global communication that can be achieved via an electronic communications account that can be created for every physical address in the world.

RF IN-WALL IMAGE REGISTRATION USING POSITION INDICATING MARKERS

A radio frequency (RF) imaging device comprises an RF sensor assembly, a position sensor, a processor, and a memory. The RF sensor assembly receives an RF signal for capturing an RF image of a portion of a space behind a surface. The position sensor receives a plurality of signals respectively emitted by a plurality of position markers at known positions relative to the surface. The processor determines a plurality of angles at which the plurality of signals respectively arrive at the position sensor and determines, based on the plurality of angles and the known positions of the plurality of position markers, a position of the RF imaging device relative to the surface. The memory stores the RF image in association with the determined position of the RF imaging device. A time-of-flight or triangulation of signal data may be used for position determination.

Joint Entity and Object Tracking Using an RFID and Detection Network

Several embodiments of the invention provide for a system and processes for joint entity and object tracking using RFID and a detection network. The use of RFID and a detection network allows for the efficient detection, tracking, and recording of an entity path. Various embodiments of the invention allow the system to track the paths of entities through a space and to monitor the entities' interactions with objects in the space. In addition to tracking entities' paths, the system of some embodiments associates each entity with various objects that each entity interacts with, and uses targeted reads of the associated objects to distinguish and verify the paths associated with each entity. The paths and interactions of the entities with objects in the space are then recorded and analyzed to provide insight about the different entities and about their interactions within the space.

Method and apparatus for cooperative usage of multiple distance meters
11255663 · 2022-02-22 · ·

A method and apparatus for an angle meter cooperatively using two or more non-contact distance meters for measuring distances to a surface along substantially parallel lines. The measured distances are used for estimating or calculating the angle to the surface and the distance to the surface. The distance meters may use optical means, where a visible or non-visible light or laser beam is emitted and received, acoustical means, where an audible or ultrasound sound is emitted and received, or an electromagnetic scheme, where radar beam is transmitted and received. The distances may be estimated using a Time-of-Flight (TOF), homodyne or heterodyne phase detection schemes. The distance meters may share the same correlator, signal conditioning circuits, or the same sensor. Two or more angle meters may be used defining parallel or perpendicular measurement planes, for measuring angles between surfaces, and for estimating physical dimensions such as length, area or volume.

Motion Extended Array Synthesis For Use in High Resolution Imaging Applications
20220308202 · 2022-09-29 · ·

A process and systems for constructing arbitrarily large virtual arrays using two or more collection platforms (e.g. AUX and MOV systems) having differing velocity vectors. Referred to as Motion Extended Array Synthesis (MXAS), the resultant imaging system is comprised of the collection of baselines that are created between the two collection systems as a function of time. Because of the unequal velocity vectors, the process yields a continuum of baselines over some range, which constitutes an offset imaging system (OIS) in that the baselines engendered are similar to those for a real aperture of the same size as that swept out by the relative motion, but which are offset by some (potentially very large) distance.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR RFID TAG LOCATING USING CONSTRUCTIVE INTERFERENCE
20170219700 · 2017-08-03 ·

A system and method for locating radio-frequency identification tags within a predetermined area. The method can incorporate sub-threshold superposition response mapping techniques, alone, or in combination with other methods for locating radio-frequency identification tags such as but not limited to time differential on arrival (TDOA), frequency domain phase difference on arrival (FD-PDOA), and radio signal strength indication (RSSI). The system can include a plurality of antennas dispersed in a predefined area; one or more radio-frequency identification tags; a radio-frequency transceiver in communication with said antennas; a phase modulator coupled to the ra-dio-frequency transceiver; and a system controller in communication with said transceiver and said phase modulator. Calibration techniques can be employed to map con-structive interference zones for improved accuracy.
