ABSORBENT ARTICLE AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING ABSORBENT BODY
An absorbent body in which a larger amount of a granular absorbent substance penetrates into the inside of a fiber sheet is produced. A fiber sheet having napped one main surface is supplied to a conveying device and conveyed while the other main surface of the fiber sheet is being sucked through a conveyance surface. A granular absorbent substance is sprayed onto the napped one main surface of the fiber sheet to cause the substance to penetrate into the inside of the fiber sheet in a suction section. A pressure difference increasing device is provided that faces the one main surface of the fiber sheet sprayed with the absorbent substance and being conveyed in the suction section, and that suppresses air from flowing through the fiber sheet inward from the conveyance surface to increase the pressure difference between the conveyance surface side and the opposite side of the fiber sheet.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PRODUCING ELASTIC LAMINATES
A method and apparatus for producing elastic laminates, wherein a first continuous elastic film is stretched in a transverse direction by a spreader device and is applied on a transfer wheel on which it is cut longitudinally to form at least two parallel continuous elastic films which are transferred on a non-woven web held on the an outer cylindrical surface of an anvil wheel.
METHOD OF PRODUCING ABSORBENT BODY FOR ABSORBENT ARTICLE, AND ABSORBENT ARTICLE
A base sheet having one main surface applied with an adhesive is supplied to a conveyance device and the base sheet is conveyed while the other main surface of the base sheet is suctioned. A first laminate is formed by overlapping the one main surface of the base sheet with the other main sheet of a fiber sheet having one main surface nap-raised; then, a granular absorbent material is scattered on the one main surface of the fiber sheet; the scattered absorbent material is infiltrated into the fiber sheet when the other main surface of the base sheet is suctioned; then, a second laminate is formed by overlapping the one main surface of the fiber sheet with the one main surface of a cover sheet applied with an adhesive; and then the resultant sheet is compressed in the thickness direction by means of a compression means and the applied adhesive.
Anti-permeable, anti-side leakage diapers, pull ups and training pants, and a production line for producing the same
An anti-permeable, anti-side leakage diaper, adapted to be used in ordinary diapers, pull ups or training pants, contains an outer layer, an inner layer, an absorbent core in between, and an anti-leakage layer on an inner side surface of the outer layer; an outer surface of the inner layer is provided with anti-side leakage strips corresponding to two lengthwise sides of the absorbent core respectively; each of the anti-side leakage strips is fixedly connected to the inner layer at one side edge, and another side edge is a free side edge provided with an elastic band along a lengthwise direction thereof; an anti-permeable layer is laminated onto each of the anti-side leakage strips along a lengthwise direction thereof. A production line for producing the diaper is also disclosed.
Linear-motor type transport device for transporting material for absorbent article and method for manufacturing absorbent article
A linear-motor type transport device for transporting material for an absorbent article includes: a shaft portion that has an axial direction, a radial direction, and a circumferential direction; a pair of guide portions that is disposed on the shaft portion with a predetermined axial-direction space between the guide portions and that forms an orbital transport path that extends along the circumferential direction; a mobile unit that moves on the transport path along the guide portions while supporting a transport head rotatably about a rotation axis; a cam mechanism that rotates the transport head about the rotation axis through a predetermined angle when the mobile unit is moved on the transport path; and a controller that moves the mobile unit by supplying currents to conductors and generating a propulsive force between one of the conductors and a magnet that is disposed on the mobile unit.
ADAPTIVE CARRIER UNIT AND TRANSFER SYSTEM
A carrier unit for a transfer system having a transfer path includes a first carrier and a second carrier, the first and the second carriers being engageable to the transfer path and configured for negotiating the transfer path, wherein the first carrier is coupled to a first gripper configured for cooperating with a second gripper coupled to the second carrier to define a socket for holding one or more products, the socket having a socket geometry determined by a relative position of the first gripper with respect to the second gripper. Each carrier unit includes an angle control device configured to maintain the socket geometry upon negotiation of the transfer path by the carrier unit.
STRETCH LAMINATE WITH BEAMED ELASTICS AND FORMED NONWOVEN LAYER
A stretch laminate is disclosed. The stretch laminate may include a layer of nonwoven material that includes an accumulation of filaments and has an inner surface and an outer surface, the outer surface having an ordered arrangement of zones, each zone having an attenuated region adjacent to a build-up region wherein the attenuated region has a first basis weight and the build-up region has a second basis weight greater than the first basis weight, the difference in basis weights corresponding to disposition of the filaments according to the ordered arrangement. The stretch laminate may include a plurality of elastic strands space apart from each other in a crotch-stretch direction. In some examples the elastic strands may have an Average Strand Spacing no greater than 3 mm and/or an Average Decitex no greater than 300, and/or an Average Pre-Strain no greater than 250 percent.
MANUFACTURING PROCESS OF INTERMITTENT COATING RELEASE PAPER
Disclosed is a manufacturing process of intermittent coating release paper, which includes: a) undercoating; b) primary drying in a drying oven; c) printing optical marks; d) coating silicon in a section; e) accurately coating heat-sealing material on front and back sides of the base material; f) secondary drying, rolling up, the action of coating the silicon and coating the heat sealing material is precisely positioned by using the optical marks printed in the previous process. The manufactured release paper can be directly applied to the packaging of women's sanitary napkins, pads, and maternity napkins, there is no need to use spaced release paper, the whole can be degraded or recycled for pulping, and can also reduce the use of various coating materials during production, reduce production costs, thus being beneficial to improve the production level of the existing process and the ecological environment protection.
TAMPON WITH APPLICATOR SUBSTANTIALLY FREE OF COMPONENTS DERIVED FROM PETROLEUM
A tampon product including an applicator with a hollow barrel portion and an ejection plunger within the barrel portion, is disclosed. One or both of the barrel portion and the ejection plunger may have a cylindrical form and be formed of a paper, and have a coating applied to the paper, wherein the coating is not predominately constituted by a material derived from petroleum. The coated paper barrel portion and/or ejection plunger may be manufactured to as to exhibit a static Relative Sliding Resistance Coefficient (CSR) no greater than 0.250 and/or a kinetic CSR no greater than 0.210, for purposes of smooth manufacturing. In combination or alternatively, the coated paper barrel portion and/or ejection plunger may be manufactured to as to exhibit a static Gripping Slip Resistance Coefficient (CGSR) no less than 0.190 and/or a kinetic CGSR no less than 0.170, for purposes of consumer satisfaction.
