MULTIFAN SURVEY SYSTEM AND METHOD
A survey system including a multibeam echo sounder having a single projector array and a single hydrophone array constructs a multi-component message for ensonifying multiple fans and deconstructs a corresponding message echo for use in analyzing the returns from each fan.
Method, device, and storage medium for preventing false touch of screen
A method for preventing a false touch of a screen includes: sending a bandpass ultrasonic signal; receiving a reflected ultrasonic signal; calculating frequency domain information of the reflected ultrasonic signal; calculating at least one ultrasonic feature vector according to the frequency domain information, the ultrasonic feature vector being used to characterize movement state information of the mobile terminal approaching or moving away from an obstacle; constructing a feature vector set comprising the at least one ultrasonic feature vector; determining whether a condition for preventing a false touch is met according to the feature vector set; disabling a touch function of the touch screen in a case where the condition for preventing the false touch is met.
Multifan survey system and method
A survey system including a multibeam echo sounder having a single projector array and a single hydrophone array constructs a multi-component message for ensonifying multiple fans and deconstructs a corresponding message echo for use in analyzing the returns from each fan.
Hybrid pulse compression waveform for high resolution imaging
A hybrid pulse compression RF system is provided herein in which an enhanced noise waveform and a hybrid waveform are generated to detect a target. For example, the system includes a signal generator that generates an LFM waveform and an enhanced waveform in sequence such that a transmitter of the system transmits the waveforms in the generated sequence in a direction of a possible target. The enhanced waveform may be a partially randomized version of the LFM waveform. If a target is present, the waveforms reflect off the target and are captured by the system in the sequence in which the originally generated waveforms are transmitted. Once captured, the reflected waveforms are processed by the system to generate a hybrid waveform for display such that the range and Doppler resolution and detection capabilities are significantly superior to the state of the art LFM or noise waveform RF systems.
CONTROL DEVICE FOR CONTROLLING SAFETY DEVICE IN VEHICLE
A control device to be applied to a vehicle equipped with an imaging device and a safety device is configured to, based on moving-object detection information detected from images captured by the imaging device, actuate the safety device for a moving object.
In the control device, a control unit is configured to, in response to any of certain information that it is certain that the object is a moving object and uncertain information indicating that it is not certain whether the object is a moving object being acquired as moving-object detection information, actuate the safety device based on a position of the object subjected to detection with the certain information or the uncertain information. An actuation region setting unit is configured to, when the moving-object detection information is the uncertain information, narrow an actuation region as compared to when the moving-object detection information is the certain information.
CONTROL DEVICE FOR CONTROLLING SAFETY DEVICE IN VEHICLE
A control device to be applied to a vehicle equipped with an imaging device, a ranging device, and a safety device is configured to, based on moving-object detection information around the vehicle acquired from images captured by the imaging device, perform a first actuation process directed to moving objects to actuate the safety device, and based on stationary-object detection information around the vehicle acquired from measurements made by the ranging device, perform a second actuation process directed to stationary objects to actuate the safety device. In the control device, a mask region setting unit is configured to set at least either neighborhood-of-stationary-object regions or far-side regions as a mask region. An actuation restriction unit is configured to, in response to the moving object determined to be present around the vehicle being present in the mask area, restrict performance of the first actuation process on the moving object.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR CONTACTLESS MOTION TRACKING
Embodiments of the present disclosure provide systems and methods directed to contactless motion tracking. In operation, a speaker may provide an acoustic signal to, for example, a subject. A microphone array may receive a reflected acoustic signal, where the received reflected signal is responsive to the acoustic signal reflecting off the subject. A computing device may extraction motion data of the subject based on the received reflected acoustic signal. Various motion data extraction methods are described herein. The motion data may include respiration motion, coarse movement motion, respiration rate, and the like. Using the extracted motion data, the processor may identify at least one health condition and/or sleep anomaly corresponding to the subject. In some examples, beamforming is implemented to aid in contactless motion tracking.
Distributed acoustic anti unmanned boat system
A distributed acoustic anti-unmanned boat intelligence system (DAAUBS) for detecting unmanned boats (UB) approaching protected sites includes a plurality of airborne defense agents (ADAs) and a base station. Each ADA is equipped with air balloons, tethers, buoys, a directional microphone array, a first computing device, and a transceiver. The first computing device causes at least processor to determine information regarding each approaching UB. The base station includes a control center configured with a wideband communications link configured to communicate with the transceiver of each ADA. The DAAUBS control center includes a second computing device performing an intelligence method. The second processor receives and aggregates the data of each approaching UB and performs adaptive noise cancellation to remove environmental background noise. The second processor uses a deep learning classifier to classify at least one of a type and size of the UB.
PRECISE REGISTRATION OF IMAGES OF TUBULARS
A device and method used to image conduits, such as pipes, wellbores and tubulars, with imaging sensors, such as cameras and ultrasound arrays. The speed and location of the device are determined using one or more speed sensor modules. Images are then registered to more precise axial locations along the conduit than are normally possible using wireline encoders or other methods. The conduit may be visualized to proper scale for improved analysis of defects.
SONAR DATA COMPRESSION
A survey system including a multibeam echo sounder and a beam selector for selecting beams with the largest amplitudes.
