The perspiration absorption towel is removably or permanently affixed along the front interior of the collar of the jersey. The perspiration absorption towel has a collar-region width less than the collar width by an amount which optimizes access to and removability of the perspiration absorption towel. The perspiration absorption towel has a length which relative to the collar-region width which balances usefulness and ease of return to the non-use position of the perspiration absorption towel.

In an embodiment, the shirt includes a body to be disposed about a torso of a wearer, a body to be disposed about a torso of a wearer, and pair of sleeves to receive the wearer's arms. In addition, the shirt includes a collar assembly including a port including a V-shaped region, and a collar extending from the port. The collar has a first portion extending a first length from the port, and a second portion extending a second length from the port. The first length is longer than the second length, and the second portion extends from the V-shaped region of the port. The body and the collar assembly comprise a first material, the pair of shoulder and the pair of sleeves comprise a second material, and the second material is more abrasion resistant than the first material.

A garment attachment assembly is provided. The assembly includes a plurality of garment attachment modules each having an elongated support member, a garment attachment provided on an inner side of the support member, an accessory attachment provided on the outer side of the support member, and a coupling mechanism for coupling adjacent supports in an end-to-end configuration. Adjacent garment attachment modules can thus be coupled to adjust an overall length of the garment attachment assembly to fit a garment, and allow an accessory to be attached thereto. The terminal ends of the front collar panel and the back collar panel are in an overlapping relationship at a first side and a second side of a neck opening of the upper-body garment. The terminal ends of the front collar panel are detached from the terminal ends of the back collar panel to provide enhanced stretch at the lateral sides of the neck opening when donning and doffing the upper-body garment.
