DEVICE, SYSTEM, AND METHOD FOR HEMISPHERIC BREAST IMAGING
A device, system, and method for volumetric ultrasound imaging is described. The device and system include an array of transducer elements grouped in triangular planar facets and substantially configured in the shape of a hemisphere to form a cup-shaped volumetric imaging region within the cavity of the hemisphere, A plurality of data-acquisition assemblies are connected to the transducers, which are configured to collect ultrasound signals received from the transducers and transmit image data to a network of processors that are configured to construct a volumetric image of an object within the imaging region based on the image data received from the data-acquisition assemblies.
Subject information acquiring device and subject information acquiring method
A subject information acquiring device has: an acoustic detector which receives an acoustic wave propagated in a subject and converts into an electrical signal; and a data processing device which generates a subject information distribution using the electrical signal, and the data processing device has a matching processing unit which acquires a similarity distribution by calculating a similarity between: template data indicating a relationship between a real image; and an artifact and the subject information distribution used as a matching information distribution, so that it is possible to provide a photoacoustic image forming diagnosing device which can distinguish between an image and a background even when the contrast is poor.
LESION DETECTION AND LOCALIZATION IN HETEROGENEOUS MEDIA
An ultrasound system and method are provided for detecting lesions and/or abnormalities in a heterogeneous medium. An array of ultrasound transducer elements configured to emit ultrasound signals and to receive backscattered ultrasound signals. A processor performs a lesion detection algorithm that processes the backscattered ultrasound signals to obtain an Inter-element Response Matrix (IRM), splits the IRM into a plurality of sub-IRMs corresponding to subsets of the ultrasound transducer elements, and then performs additional processing that includes performing a depression detection algorithm to identify one or more lesions and/or abnormalities.
Image processing apparatus and method for controlling the same
An apparatus for processing a medical image includes: a receiver configured to receive a signal having a plurality of frequency bands; an image reconstructor configured to segment the signal into a first signal of a first frequency band and a second signal of a second frequency band based on a signal strength, and configured to generate a first reconstructed image of the first frequency band and a second reconstructed image of the second frequency band; and an image synthesizer configured to synthesize the first reconstructed image and the second reconstructed image.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ULTRASOUND PERFUSION IMAGING
A perfusion imaging processing method comprising collecting a plurality of digital images comprising sequential B-Mode micro-ultrasound reflectivity data, calculating decorrelation trends of autocorrelated data to determine blood flow and perfusion level, reducing the noise content in the data using the decorrelation trends, and/or forming a visual representation based on the decorrelation trends. The present system and method provides an ultrasonic imaging system and method which provides perfusion data without requiring the use of an injected contrast agent.
ULTRASONIC DIAGNOSIS APPARATUS AND STORAGE MEDIUM
According to one embodiment, an ultrasonic diagnosis apparatus includes processing circuitry and a display. The processing circuitry executes a load process of loading predetermined data from volume data stored in other apparatus. The processing circuitry executes a reconstruction process of reconstructing volume data from the loaded data. The processing circuitry executes a registration process in such a manner as to register the positions of the displayed ultrasonic image and slice image based on the loaded data. The processing circuitry executes a control process of controlling, after the registration process, the display in such a manner as to interlock-display the ultrasonic image and slice image.
IMAGE GENERATION APPARATUS AND IMAGE GENERATION METHOD
An image generation apparatus including a computation processing section that generates an ultrasonic image from a received signal associated with each scanning of an object in which an ultrasonic wave is transmitted and received is provided. The computation processing section sets, for each scanning, a selection range over which the received signal is received and which includes the direction of the scanning, calculates weights used in a beamforming process based on the received signals within the selection range, and carries out the beamforming process based on the weights to generate an image associated with the scanning.
EQUALIZATION FOR MATRIX BASED LINE IMAGERS FOR ULTRASOUND IMAGING SYSTEMS
Disclosed herein are ultrasonic transducer systems comprising: an ultrasonic imager comprising a plurality of pMUT transducer elements; and one or more circuitries connected electronically to the plurality of transducer element, the one or more circuitries configured to enable: pulse transmission and reception of reflected signal for the ultrasonic transducer, where inductors are used to equalize impedance to obtain greater pressure output. Also disclosed are methods of altering a pressure of an ultrasonic wave emitted by an ultrasonic transducer.
Method and system for non-contact bio-signal detection using ultrasound signals in which magnitude and phase signals are obtained from in-phase and quadrature baseband signals
This disclosure relates generally to bio-signal detection, and more particularly to method and system for non-contact bio-signal detection using ultrasound signals. In an embodiment, the method includes acquiring an in-phase I(t) baseband signal and a quadrature Q(t) baseband signal associated with an ultrasound signal directed from the sensor assembly towards the target. Magnitude and phase signals are calculated from the in-phase and quadrature baseband signals, and are filtered by passing through a band pass filter associated with a predefined frequency range to obtain filtered magnitude and phase signals. Fast Fourier Transformation (FFT) of the filtered magnitude and phase signals is performed to identify frequency of dominant peaks of spectrum of the magnitude and phase signals in the ultrasound signal. Value of the bio-signal associated with the target is determined based on weighted values of the frequency of the dominant peaks of the magnitude and phase signals.
Ultrasonic imaging device and imaging method thereof
An ultrasonic imaging device includes an ultrasonic generating unit and an ultrasonic imaging processing unit. The ultrasonic generating unit repeatedly turns on N of M ultrasonic array elements of the ultrasonic probe multiple times as a group of array elements for linear scanning, and each scan is to emit an ultrasonic signal by each group of array elements and receive an echo signal of the ultrasonic signal. The ultrasonic imaging processing unit extracts a central echo signal from the echo signal in each scan to form a channel signal, and according to the arrival time of the echo signals, each central echo signal in the channel signal is delayed and summed to generate a modified channel signal. The modified channel signal is subjected to image synthesis process to obtain an ultrasonic image.
