Protective disposable wrapper for tampons
Tampon packaging and disposal systems and methods are disclosed. The packaging has a flexible mitten and an optional attached tampon enclosure. The tampon enclosure can package a tampon and the flexible mitten wraps around the tampon enclosure. When unwrapped, the tampon enclosure is detachable from the mitten and the tampon can be used by a user. The mitten is used for removing the used tampon worn by the user and disposing of the used tampon after removal.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING NASAL EXUDATION
An inflatable device for insertion into a user's nose for controlling nasal exudation has an elongated shaft including at least one lumen for accommodating a fluid; an inflatable balloon connected to the shaft, the balloon being in fluid connection to the lumen; and an absorber for absorbing nasal exudates, the absorber being disposed at an outer circumference of the shaft and/or at a distal tip portion of the device. Another inflatable device for insertion into a user's nose for controlling nasal exudation has an elongated shaft including at least one lumen for accommodating a fluid; and an inflatable balloon connected to the shaft, the balloon being in fluid connection to the lumen; the balloon containing a cooling agent, wherein the cooling agent is configured to cool the balloon when coming into contact with the fluid.
ENDOSCOPIC, PERCUTANEOUS AND OTHER METHODS FOR DISSOLUTION OF PANCREATIC NECROSIS
An endoscopic foam delivery catheter comprising a dissolution solution and methods of their use for treating pancreatic necrosis are disclosed.
VAGINAL FLUID ABSORPTION AND ODOR REDUCTION
A device includes a shell including a proximal end and a distal end of the shell. The device also includes a plunger within the shell. The plunger can include a flexible stop at a proximal end of the plunger and a distal end. The device can further include an absorptive unit configured to absorb fluid within a vaginal cavity. The absorptive unit can be affixed to the distal end of the plunger. The absorptive unit can include an absorptive element affixed to a frame structure configurable to reversibly transition between a compressed and uncompressed configuration. The absorptive unit can also include a tether coupled to the absorptive unit via the frame structure. The tether can extend through the proximal end of the plunger. Related methods of use are also described.
Self-adhesive sanitary product and preparation method thereof
The disclosure relates to a self-adhesive sanitary product and a preparation method thereof. The product is fingerstall-like or sheet-like, and has a first face on a surface side and a second face on the opposite side of the first face. On the first face, the product has a micro-nano array structure which can achieve reversible wet adhesion and which is configured to be adhered to a vaginal orifice tissue or a urethral orifice tissue. The self-adhesive sanitary product has air permeability and liquid impermeability. When the self-adhesive sanitary product is adhered to the vaginal orifice tissue or the urethral orifice tissue, the self-adhesive sanitary product completely blocks the vaginal orifice or the urethral orifice to prevent contents of the vagina or the urethra from flowing out. The self-adhesive sanitary product according to the present disclosure has the advantages of safety, comfort, privacy, miniature, environmental protection, affordability and the like.

Tampon with wicking member and improved manufacturability
A tampon including a pledget, a wicking member disposed in direct contact with the pledget, and a withdrawal cord is disclosed. The wicking member is non-coaxially arranged with respect to the withdrawal cord.
APPARATUS FOR VAGINAL CLEANSING, VAGINAL DRUG DELIVERY, AND TOXIC SHOCK PREVENTION
An intravaginal apparatus comprising a bullet-shaped body with outer, middle mesh, and inner layers is provided. The device is configured to contain insertable materials such as tampons, absorbents, drugs, or therapeutic compounds. One or more openings, optionally fitted with mesh guards, enable fluid exchange and adsorption of pathogens and odor-causing compounds. In some embodiments, the insertable material includes activated carbon engineered to adsorb volatile amines and indoxyl sulfate and may release therapeutic agents in response to microbial presence. The apparatus may preserve vaginal pH and microbiota, support directional fluid flow, and be suitable for single-use or extended wear. Applications include treatment and prevention of vaginal infections such as bacterial vaginosis and toxic shock syndrome.
