RADIATION DETECTOR
A radiation detector includes a substrate, control lines provided on the substrate and extending in a first direction, data lines provided on the substrate and extending in a second direction crossing the first direction, and detection parts arranged in a matrix. Each detection part includes a thin film transistor and a conversion part converting radiation or light into electricity. Further, a control circuit switches an on state and an off state of each thin film transistor and a signal detection circuit reads out image data in the on state of the thin film transistor. Further, the detector judges a start time of radiation incidence based on a value of the image data read out in the on state of each thin film transistor.
Radiometric detector for detecting a measurement variable
A radiometric detector is provided for detecting a measurement variable. The detector is particularly failsafe with, simultaneously, a simple, space-saving and cost-effective design, without having losses in the signal-to-noise ratio.
Read Network Topology
A read network topology for a matrix output device with a number of outputs determined by cross-joining m rows and n columns comprises a basic filtering block replicated for all the outputs and separately assigned to each of the outputs; each filtering block contains two filtering circuits that have a common input connection to the assigned matrix output and that provide two separate symmetrical and filtered outputs; all the row outputs (i) from the same row i but from different columns are interconnected to an input of an amplifier linked to row i, and all the column outputs (j) from the same column j but from different rows are connected together to an input of an amplifier linked to column j, the complete topology appearing when i and j are expanded in the respective intervals thereof.
X-ray diagnostic apparatus
An X-ray diagnostic apparatus comprises: an X-ray detector including a first detector and a second detector capable of simultaneously detecting X-rays irradiated from an X-ray tube; and processing circuitry configured to correct, by using information of a second image that is based on an output from the second detector, a first image that is based on an output from the first detector.
COUNTING AND INTEGRATING PIXELS, DETECTORS, AND METHODS
Embodiments include a device, comprising: a column line; a plurality of pixels; each pixel coupled to the column line; a comparator having an input coupled to the column line and configured to compare a signal from the column line to a threshold; and control logic coupled to the pixels and configured to selectively couple each pixel to the column line after a sampling period for each pixel.
RADIATION IMAGING APPARATUS AND RADIATION IMAGING SYSTEM
A radiation imaging apparatus having a function of detecting a start and an end of emission of radiation and an amount of emission of radiation includes a plurality of pixels configured to generate signals according to a dose of radiation, signal lines connected to the plurality of pixels, a reading circuit configured to read the signals from the pixels via the signal lines and generate values according to the signals, and a control unit configured to control an operation of the reading circuit. A row including a pixel from which a signal has been read during the emission of radiation is not read when a diagnosis image is generated.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR REDUCING EVENT PILEUP IN POSITRON EMISSION TOMOGRAPHY DETECTOR
A system and a method include utilizing a PET scanner where each detector block is divided into a plurality of different subsets of scintillation crystals. Each subset of scintillation crystals has an independent fast channel for producing time stamps while the plurality of different subsets of scintillation crystals share a slow channel for energy integration. The system and the method are utilized to resolve pile up of separate positron annihilation events. In particular, disclosed embodiments produce two time stamps and a single energy readout (e.g., multiplexed signal) having two integrated energies which can be corrected utilizing the two time stamps.
NEUTRON-SHIELDING CODED APERTURE, AND DUAL-PARTICLE IMAGE FUSION DEVICE USING SAME
The present invention provides a neutron-shielding coded aperture having a boron polyethylene (PE) mask, which is attached to the front end of a tungsten mask pattern of a coded aperture and has the same pattern. In order to alleviate a neutron-shielding problem, a material, in which high-density polyethylene (HDPE) having excellent neutron-shielding ability is mixed with boron, is attached to the front end of a conventional coded aperture so as to block both gamma rays and neutrons.
Radiation detector and radiographic method using same
A radiation detector, which can reduce power consumption of a read-out module, comprises: a radiation detection unit which includes a plurality of pixels connected to a plurality of gate lines and a plurality of data lines that intersect and arranged in a matrix form, and which store, in the plurality of pixels, charges generated in proportion to radiation dosage; a gate module for selecting at least one of the plurality of gate lines and controlling the selected gate line; the read-out module for selecting at least one of the plurality of data lines, and reading charges stored in at least one exposure detection pixel determined by the selected data line and the selected gate line; and an automatic exposure detection unit for determining whether the radiation detection unit is exposed to radiation by using a charge quantity read by the read-out module from the exposure detection pixel in every preset period.
Detection value correction system, coefficient calculation method, and detection value correction method
A detection value correction system is a detection value correction system that corrects detection values of a plurality of sensors that are arranged in a line and detect a physical quantity, and includes a correction processing unit that corrects a detection value of a target sensor, which is a sensor to be corrected, among the sensors based on at least detection values of sensors adjacent to the target sensor.
