X-RAY SINGLE-PIXEL CAMERA BASED ON X-RAY COMPUTATIONAL CORRELATED IMAGING
An X-ray single-pixel camera based on X-ray computational correlated imaging, which belongs to the technical research fields of X-ray computational correlated imaging and X-ray single-pixel imaging. The X-ray single-pixel camera includes: an X-ray modulation system (3), an X-ray modulation control system (4), an X-ray single-pixel detector (5), a main control system unit (6), a time synchronization system (7) and a computational imaging system (8). The main control system unit (6) controls each module through software; the time synchronization system (7) controls synchronization of each module for automatic collection; and the computational imaging system (8) is configured to perform a second-order correlated computation or a compressed sensing computation or a deep learning computation on the signals collected by the X-ray single-pixel detector (5) and a preset modulation matrix, so as to obtain an image of an object under test. The X-ray single-pixel camera based on X-ray computational correlated imaging, provided by the present invention, realizes single-pixel imaging, greatly reduces the sampling number while ensuring the imaging quality, and reduces the X-ray radiation dose in an imaging process.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CAPTURING STILL IMAGES AND VIDEO USING DIFFRACTION CODED IMAGING TECHNIQUES
An apparatus and method are described for capturing images in visible light as well as other radiation wavelengths. In one embodiment, the apparatus comprises: a diffraction coded imaging system including a plurality of apertures arranged in a diffraction coded array pattern with opaque material blocking array elements not containing apertures; and a light- or radiation-sensitive sensor coupled to the diffraction coded imaging system array and positioned at a specified distance behind the diffraction coded imaging system array, the radiation-sensitive sensor configured to sense light or radiation transmitted and diffracted through the apertures in the diffraction coded imaging system array.

APPARATUS FOR FUSING DUAL PARTICLE IMAGES ON BASIS OF CODED APERTURE
Disclosed is a coded-aperture-based dual particle image fusion apparatus that simultaneously fuses a real-time site image of a radiation source and a reaction image of gamma rays and neutrons to perform nuclide discrimination through the position of radiation, dose per second, and spectrum information, to provide numerical information of dose, and to visualize position information of gamma rays and neutrons through GPS information, whereby it is possible to secure worker safety, and that has a compact size so as to be easily carried, whereby it is possible to create a radiation distribution map based on location movement.
METHOD FOR CORRECTING A SPECTRAL IMAGE
The invention concerns a method for processing energy spectra of radiation transmitted by an object irradiated by an ionising radiation source, in particular X-ray radiation, for medical imaging or non-destructive testing applications. The method uses a detector comprising a plurality of pixels, each pixel being capable of acquiring a spectrum of the radiation transmitted by the object. The method makes it possible, based on a plurality of detected spectra, to estimate a spectrum, referred to as the scattering spectrum, representative of radiation scattered by the object. The estimation involves taking into account a spatial model of the scattering spectrum. Each acquired spectrum is corrected taking into account the estimated scattering spectrum. The invention makes it possible to reduce the influence of the scattering, by the object, of the spectrum emitted by the source.
Lensless imaging system using an image sensor with one or more attenuating layers
A lens-free imaging system for generating an image of a scene includes an electromagnetic (EM) radiation sensor; a mask disposed between the EM radiation sensor and the scene; an image processor that obtains signals from the EM radiation sensor while the EM radiation sensor is exposed to the scene; and estimates the image of the scene based on, at least in part, the signals and a transfer function between the scene and the EM radiation sensor.

DEVICE FOR THE SIMULTANEOUS DEECTION, IDENTIFCATION, QUANTIFICATION AND/OR LOCALIZATION OF GAMMA RADIATION AND NEUTRON SOURCES
A mechanical collimator receives particles from a gamma radiation emission source and/or neutron emission source, a material that absorbs neutrons and is virtually transparent to gamma radiation A first detector includes a scintillator crystal with neutron-gamma discrimination capability and a position-sensitive photosensor, coupled to the mechanical collimator. One or more detector blocks have scintillator crystals of gamma or neutron-gamma radiation and position-sensitive photosensors, after the first detector, on a face opposite the mechanical collimator. A processing and acquisition module is connected to the detectors The device is suitable for use in inspections relating to nuclear safety, port safety, nuclear threats and accidents, and hadron-therapy treatments and nuclear medicine.
