Module-housing system and method
A clip-on module having a specialized housing design, probe contacts, switches, various advertising modes, and various configurations of signal repeaters is disclosed. The module is utilized via attachment to a specialized garment worn by a human patient. To properly apply the housing to the garment, a user will squeeze the module to open using tactile features embedded within the housing, locate the module, and then press-clamp the module to close and attach it. A plurality of probe contacts within the module have sharpness requirements for penetrating one or more layers of the garment while still maintaining low resistance, and will work with a backing material for probe.
Process for making an absorbent article comprising a topsheet/acquisition layer laminate
A process of making an absorbent article is disclosed. A liquid permeable topsheet web extending substantially continuously in a machine direction a backsheet web, and an intermediate layer are provided. The topsheet web has first and second surfaces. The backsheet web extends substantially continuously in the machine direction. The intermediate layer has a first and second surface. The topsheet and intermediate layer are aligned in a face to face relationship such that the second surface of the topsheet in in contact with the first surface of the intermediate layer and simultaneously mechanically deformed which combines the topsheet with the intermediate layer. The topsheet web and intermediate layer are nested together such that a majority of the three-dimensional protrusions formed in the topsheet web coincide with and fit together with a majority of the three-dimensional protrusions formed in the intermediate layer to provide a topsheet/intermediate layer laminate web having three-dimensional protrusions.
DEFECATION AMOUNT MEASUREMENT SYSTEM INCLUDING SMART DIAPER
A defecation amount measurement system including a smart diaper for determining an amount of defecation includes a defecation amount measurement sensing unit including at least one temperature sensor, at least one humidity sensor, at least one gas sensor, and at least one capacitance sensor, a wearing and posture sensing unit including the at least one capacitance sensor, at least one gyro sensor, at least one magnetic field sensor, and at least one acceleration sensor, a transmission unit, which transmits a first sensing information generated by the defecation amount measurement sensing unit and a second sensing information generated by the wearing and posture sensing unit to a determination unit, and a determination unit which receives the first sensing information from the defecation amount measurement sensing unit, receives the second sensing information from the wearing and posture sensing unit, distinguishes a type of the defecation depending on a predetermined threshold value, and determines an amount of the defecation.
Toilet Training Composition
A toilet training composition is disclosed comprising a substrate provided as a folded arrangement and dispensable in a fluid reservoir. An additive is provided to the substrate which includes an indicator responsive to a change in at least one condition.
System and methods for monitoring defecation, urination, near-body temperature, body posture and body movements in young children, patients and elderlies
Remotely detecting the presence of urine or feces in a diaper of an infant or adult using a disposable sensor placed inside the diaper, in conjunction with a permanent device that is capable of wirelessly transmitting data to a mobile device or base station is disclosed. The permanent device can also be capable of measuring temperature and body movements. This additional information can be used in conjunction with the detection of urine or feces to identify patterns.
Absorbent article having a wetness indicator
An absorbent article having an outer cover with an interior surface and an opposite exterior surface, an absorbent core positioned adjacent the interior surface of the outer cover, and a wetness indicator graphic located on the outer cover. The wetness indicator graphic has a permanent graphic defining at least one non-printed area and a changing graphic located within the at least one non-printed area of the permanent graphic such that the permanent graphic and the changing graphic together give the appearance of a uniform graphic.

INCONTINENCE CARE SYSTEM AND METHOD THEREFOR
A system and a method of detecting a voiding event of a care-receiver uses a temperature sensor for measuring temperatures in real-time at a location adjacent a lower portion of the care-receiver's torso where the voiding event is to occur. The system and method then determines the voiding event based on the measured temperatures.
Smart infant toilet system and method thereof
The present invention relates to a smart infant toilet system and a method thereof, and the system includes a first sensor mounted to an infant product to sense external temperature and humidity, a second sensor mounted to the infant product to sense gas, third sensor mounted to the infant product to sense whether an infant rides on the infant product, a control module configured to set critical temperature and humidity, and an alarming unit configured to provide an alarm to a guardian when it is determined that the comparative temperature and humidity are out of the preset range of the critical temperature and humidity.
FEMININE SANITARY PRODUCT WITH INDICATOR
A feminine sanitary product with an end-of-use indicator for signaling to the user that the product must be replaced. Embodiments are comprised of all-natural materials that promote user safety and reduction in environmental waste. Embodiments include a tampon comprising an absorbent pledget, waterproofed removal string and natural indicator adapted to provide indicate when predetermined limits on saturation or exposure time are met. Natural visual indicator embodiments rely on a color change in the removal string. Natural sensory indicator embodiments rely on a cooling sensation to indicate end of use.
