INDICATOR PANELS FOR INCONTINENCE PRODUCTS
The present disclosure is directed to indicating systems and methods for incontinence products. The indicating system may include an indicator panel for an incontinence product that is adapted to provide a qualitative or quantitative indication of a characteristic of a liquid absorbed by the indicator panel.
ABSORBENT ARTICLE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING AN ABSORBENT ARTICLE
An absorbent article includes an absorbent core sandwiched between a topsheet and a backsheet, the article being arranged along a longitudinal axis and a transversal axis extending in a perpendicular direction and the article defining a front portion, a back portion and a crotch portion, wherein the absorbent core includes an absorbent component enclosed by a core cover including an upper side and a lower side and the core is formed with a sealing arrangement for joining the upper and lower sides including two channel sealings extending along the longitudinal axis in said crotch portion and defining a first channel sealing width and a second channel sealing width, respectively. Furthermore, the absorbent article includes at least one wetness indicator having a longitudinal extension and being positioned generally only in the front portion, only in the back portion, or in both the front portion and the back portion.
Absorbent article and method for manufacturing an absorbent article
An absorbent article comprises an absorbent core sandwiched between a topsheet and a backsheet. The article defines a front portion, a back portion and a crotch portion. The absorbent core comprises an absorbent component enclosed by a core cover comprising an upper and a lower side, and the core is formed with a sealing arrangement for joining the upper and lower sides comprising two channel sealings extending along an longitudinal axis in the crotch portion and defining a first channel sealing width and a second channel sealing width, respectively. The front portion of the core is formed with a recess defining a depth extending from a front edge of the core and into the front portion. A distance is defined between said front edge of the core and a front edge of each channel sealing, such that the ratio of the depth and the distance is within the interval 0.05-0.8.
Synthesis of coelenterazine
Disclosed herein are synthesis methods for coelenterazine. Also disclosed are articles including the coelenterazine and coelenterazine derivatives. Representative absorbent articles include disposable diapers and adult incontinence products.
SINGLE-PIECE GARMENT
Disclosed herein is a garment in accordance with some embodiments. Accordingly, the garment comprises a front panel, a rear panel, and a fastener. Further, the rear panel is attached to the front panel along a periphery of the rear panel in at least a part forming a torso portion and two leg portions of the garment. Further, a lower torso portion of the torso portion and an upper leg portion of each leg portion of the two leg portions forms a crotch portion. Further, the crotch portion comprises a slit. Further, the slit is configured to provide access to at least the part of the torso and the leg through the slit. Further, the fastener is disposed on the crotch portion. Further, a second fastener element of the fastener and a first fastener element of the fastener is configured to be detachably fastened for openably closing the slit.
Toilet Training Composition
A toilet training composition is disclosed comprising a substrate provided as a folded arrangement and dispensable in a fluid reservoir. An additive is provided to the substrate which includes an indicator responsive to a change in at least one condition.
Absorbent articles comprising sensors
A sensor system for detecting a property of or within an absorbent article may comprise an absorbent article and a sensor. The absorbent article may comprise a garment-facing layer and an absorbent assembly. The sensor may be disposed in and/or on the absorbent article. The sensor may be separable from the absorbent article. The sensor may be configured to sense a change in condition within the absorbent article.
WETNESS INDICATING COMPOSITIONS INCLUDING AN AMPHIPHILIC POLYDIACETYLENE AND ABSORBENT ARTICLES INCLUDING THE SAME
A wetness indicating composition can include a mixing solvent including water and a water-miscible volatile organic solvent. The wetness indicating composition can also include an amphiphilic polydiacetylene and a hydrophobic binder. In some embodiments, the wetness indicating composition can be applied to a substrate and serve as a wetness indicator for an absorbent article.
