First spacers are arranged between a first surface of the lightguide and the protective enclosure to provide a first gap between the lightguide and the lens. Second spacers are arranged between a second surface of the lightguide and the protective enclosure to provide a second gap between the lightguide and the lens. A wearable heads-up display including the optical combiner lens is disclosed.

Backlight module and display device

A backlight module and a display device are provided. The backlight module has a plastic frame and a light guide plate located in the plastic frame. Convex portions and groove portions aligned to the convex portions are formed on the plastic frame to form an elastic structure. One of the convex portions is configured to contact with a sidewall of the light guide plate, and one of the convex portions is offset toward a side of one of the groove portions by being pressed by the light guide plate, thereby deforming one of the groove portions, so that the elastic structure and the light guide plate form an interference fit. Therefore, the light guide plate is fixed in the plastic frame without offset.

Display device

According to one embodiment, a display device includes a display panel, a case including a bottom plate opposing a rear surface of the display panel and a side plate stand on the bottom plate and attached to the display panel, a flexible wiring board, one end of which is joined to the display panel, curved around the side plate toward the bottom plate to oppose the bottom plate while, and an adhesive filled between the flexible wiring board and the side plate of the case or between the flexible wiring board and both of the side plate and the bottom plate, to adhere the flexible wiring board onto an outer surface of the case and hold the flexible wiring board in a curved state.

An out-coupling diffractive optic on one of the planar surfaces of the waveguide is disposed to direct the image-bearing light beams from the waveguide toward a viewer eyebox. An outer cover protects as least part of the waveguide from undesirable environmental influences of an ambient environment while supporting views of the ambient environment from the eyebox. A circular polarizer interposed between waveguide and the outer cover blocks the return of stray light into the waveguide.

The set cover can be composed of plastic, and the rear cover part and the side cover part can have an integrally formed shape and can be exposed to outside.
